What's the arm articulation like? Saw this and the others in person today and they look good.

he's got a hinge and swivel at the shoulders, and just hinges at the elbows. A bit limited...all he can really do is do the pose I have him in thanks to the design.

FIVE Cobra Vipers! One of them is off shot. :thumbs2:

So basically he has similar articulation to Anakin?

I don't really know since I don't have Anakin. Getting the other two have been secondary at the moment. I don't think I'll get Anakin as I swore I saw at SDCC there is going to be an armored Darth Vader retool of the Class I Eta-2 Actis. THAT one I'll get for sure.

Actis is the Jedi Starfighter right? If so, yes there is a retool coming.

The Anakin robot mode cannot swivel his elbows, his elbows can only bend inwards.

I'd say the articulation is limited in a similar way. I can't really describe it well, but I'll take some pics of the range of arm articulation in a bit.

Just got him, and noticed something weird, aside from the chest panel the OP mentioned. There are two pin joints holding the spaceship body to his back. However, there's no movement in them; the legs and the width of the body block the joints almost entirely. Makes me wonder if there were supposed to be some other transformation steps that didn't make it into the final version.

I noticed that too. I tried for the life of me to jiggle and move that piece, but to no avail. It sure as hell looks like it's supposed to do SOMETHING, as well. Now I think it's just done to hold the starfighter hull to the body without the use of too much plastic? Just add a block then pin it rather than engineer it so that it's glued on. I dunno.

That black piece on his chest moving out seems to be there for no reason.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Such an odd piece that does not add anything to the toy at all. I wonder if there is some extra functionality down the line that we aren't aware of yet...

Star Wars combiners? It would be funny to see him as an arm connecting with that thing :lol .

So I ended up getting this guy last night. He's pretty cool. I really like how the light sabers come out and retract from his arms. That was a nice touch.
