Just a bunch of pictures of the Optimus Prime figure itself for now.

The Prime figure (more or less an Ultra class toy minus the electronics), despite the funky forearms (would have looked better if the front wheels could have folded against the underside of the forearms imo), is pretty decent. Transformation is satisfying, not too simple, not too complex, just perfect. I know, I know, proportions are off, accuracy is off... but so what. Forget about the movie and enjoy it for what it is: a fun figure... especially when the trailer comes into play. More to come tomorrow.

    Thanks!

There looks to be some cool stuff going on with that figure. I agree that the wheels folding under, and maybe the bumper area would have helped. I imagine photos don't do much to downplay the arm size.

Still, it looks pretty cool and you seem to be having fun with it. Looking forward to some nice shots of everything else.

im certainly not ashamed to admit that I bought this figure solely for the trailer :p

that individual bot mode just does nothing for me. truck modes good! combined modes good!

cant wait to finally pick mine up this week :D
ill probably add some pics of my own too

I gotta say, the more I play with this guy, the more I absolutely love it.

That's one heck of an endorsement from someone who plays with tons of Transformers!

That looks pretty awesome. I love how an entire other figure looks like a properly sized gun in his huge arm.

My favorite part is the helmet. I'm assuming it had to be removed from the superdeathmonster cannon? If so, is it an easy mod that doesn't require permanent cutting?

I did some permanent cutting, but you don't have to. I posted the tutorial video earlier.

Is it pretty stable when it comes to the combined mode? It looks kinda top-heavy.

Combined mode is crazy solid. Those giant feet aren't just for show!

I still disagree as well, I would be impressed if the arms are strong enough to hold up backfire in a unsupported shooting pose though....from what I seen on reviews the arms are kinda floppy.

I bet icepicks chainsaw is in decent scale with it. How does he look with it? Did you try whirls cannon mode?

I had the combined form hold 2 HA figures in weapon mode (one in each hand) with arms extended no problem.

Nice pics. This reminds me of the $80 Ultimate Bumblebee from TFTM. So I guess I will pass.

I think this toy looks much more appealing than Ultimate BB. It's a totally different kind of thing, and this toy can still actually be in scale with some of the normal toys and interact with them via mechtech.

I am glad it has that helmet. really helps with the proportions.

This. He can't hold the giant gun he comes with without having it attached to his helmet, but I've had him hold two backfires straight out in front of him with no issues whatsoever.

POPEYE Prime it's Brutitron!!! garshg, I needs me spinergon....gulp, eep eep op op oop.....Ultimate Popeye Prime!!!

First time I saw pics with a bigger head...now it looks decent, don't like the (Ultra) single Prime
(don't like any Prime, Prime mold from DOTM, except for some reason, I actually like the deluxe)
But combined mode I actually think looks bad ass, the bigger head / helmet sells it to me.

Can you post a closer pic of the chest, and head with the bigger helmet or whatever it is on?
And what kind of articulation do the legs have, for knees and such?
