and like some others have said, im actually not too bothered by the nekkid bot mode so much in person. its not my favorite but truck and combined mode is where its at! this things H.U.G.E.

 

It would have been nice if the front wheels had been mount on removable parts so you could move them to the feet for a more accurate look in standard robot mode.

Can someone please post some images of the robot mode made only out of the trailer & cannon ? (it's shown on the side of the box)

I know it's possible to do it - ideally also I'd like to know if the cannon can fit in the spot Optimus usually goes to fill the torso in.

Or if anyone else fits inside the exosuit - like Voyager Ironhide, Cybertron Menasor, or anyone else of similar size maybe ?

Or if it's possible to put vehicle modes in the arms and legs of the trailer to make a homage to the 1980's gobot exosuit toy.

 

There IS no robot mode for just the trailer. The gun doesn't fit in Optimus's Place. You either get this:



Or empty armor without any semblance of a head. The side of the box just shows the empty armor next to Prime.

 

I can't wait to see customizers paint this set with realistic details and what not. Just the trailer painted silver would look insane.

 

im actually not too bothered by most the plastic color on the trailer really

its not that dull grey plastic, its actually got some metallic-ness sheen to it

i wish Sideswipe at least had this kind of plastic instead of that dull mess! then i'd pick him up!


the trailer all done up in chromey-ness WOULD look pretty epic though

 

Am I the only one here bothered by the unpainted wheels of Prime's truck and trailer? Some silver paint on the rims of the tyres would make it look perfect in vehicle mode along with the trailer....

 

What do you think of modding the trailer for a GIJOE to fit?(4"ME) is there enough room to mount a seat where the helmet would come donw on top of the Joes head? Make some sontrol sticks and pedals....

Unarmored robot mode with Skyhammer's mechtech gunsword in sword mode attached to the forearms, and Lazerbeak's guns held underhand.

 

^ Dammit, I cracked my Prime's arm MechTech port when I inserted Skyhammer's weapon, the post is too big! :/

 

Huh. I didn't have that issue, but he can't hold Laserbeak's guns, over OR underhand. The posts are too short and there's no clearance.

 

Just got mine and immediately took the brush to him. Will be working on the trailer later, only done the base bot.

 

Great pic as usual, I will get mine in a week. Can't wait!

 

this guy's quite fun and amazing. You can give him a great stealthforce mode, since not only does he have 4-6 mechtech ports in nice places in alt mode, he can also transform and push his 2 fist out of the front grill of the car, holding 2/4 more weapons.

The powered suit mode is really for display, but its quite nice. The giant mechtech is uber.
