You cannot experience true love until you buy him ;)

    Aww, that's a great display.

And you're Wal-Mart has two Crankcase's on the shelves? O_O I would snatch them up.

    Yep.

BTW, where did you get those chest door's from and how did you attach them? That looks pretty darn cool.

Just got this guy along with a bunch of Mechtech. I'll be playing with the trailer and leader Optimus over the weekend.

As far as the base figure is concerned I love the height. He looks great posing with TFTM leader Megatron. I don't mind the arm kibble as much but it's a shame that he looks so stocky when movie Optimus is always pictured as a lanky robot.

I think now that these are starting to get clearanced and more guys will get them, I think we will see alot of changed opinions on this one. Its really a fantastic piece.

As you said, the Base figure is DAMN good. I was one of the Nay-sayers with this one, and the wife bought it for me as a present. In my head I rolled my eyes, but now its one of my favs from the entire DOTM collection

Dirty little secret time: The base figure in this set is my absolute favorite Movie Prime figure. I love how both modes look and the transformation is intuitive and fun. Maybe being designed by Takashi Kunihiro, the same guy who did G1 Hotrod, G1 Rodimus Prime, G1 Chrome Dome, G1 Victory Saber, Grand Convoy & Galaxy Convoy gives it that extra something for me.

Very cool overall and I'm getting used to the figures proportions. As for the trailer I feel I should separate the pieces to really use it with the leader figure. I'll be doing that when I have some more time and room to work with.

This toy is so bitching. The arms are incredibly articulated, totally make up for the three points in each leg. His BFG is just so badass.

I never thought about using the upgrade swords or hooks with Ultimate Prime - that's a good idea.

Incidentally is the Chinese Packaging Dragon version that is packed in robot mode instead of vehicle mode a KO or a legit repack ?

    My thoughts on this figure.

I really, REALLY like this figure. Peaugh's guide to fixing the helmet makes it even better. I love that everything combines together to make a nice trailer that doesn't take up space the way Jetwing stuff does. the combined version is IMPOSING. I don't care if there isn't a lot of articulation. he looks BADASS. and a lot of people bitched about the core bot mode, but I gotta say - he was interesting to transform, and not as skinny looking in hand.

    A+
