I just noticed that there is an error in my directions. When explaining how to place the fender on the ankle, it says to us A-1 on the left side and A-2 for the right. They goofed, since this is incorrect.

A1 is for the left side, Prime's left side. I know because I am missing the piece.

I just think its funny, such a goof. I'm almost done with the figure after spending the last week (a little time here...a little time there) on applying washes and detailing, and boy what this model a B***H! All of the small pieces that need to fit flush (Head pieces, doors into the shoulders, abdominal center, knee flaps.....) need to be sanded down or sculpted with a Razor to FIT.

But I am glad that I am almost done, It has been a very involved process and I look forward to see what is down the tube for Takara.

finished mine today and there were a few errors on the instructions, one part on mine said to use letter O when there isnt one lol.

But man, the lower half stays together fine but the top and all its little pieces, mine kept coming off here and there so I superglued some standard pieces in with no movement. But I love it and was great to put together.

The fingers suck as they always come off so I did the melt down mod of the plastic so they dont come off.

Just about done with it, have to add more wash to the forearms to bring out the panel lines, but I would say it came out rather nicely.[IMG]

I am working on my swords to give them a molten metal look.. actually, much more difficult than I figure... I still have about 4 more layers of color to do..

Yeah, that hot steel look really looks good. I wish I had the airbrushing skills to pull off multilayer paint jobs.

    Hi encline.

Any idea as to how you're going to handle the pale blue pin-striping on the flames? I have pin-striping brushes, but these are so stupid thin that you'd practically need a brush with just 2 or 3 hair strands to get the right thickness.

Idk about encline, but over been practicing with a super fine point brush, and trying to stay my hand. Just need to use the very tip of the brush, and it makes a pretty good line.

Yeah, pretty much using a single hair from my head..haha..

I am picking up a really thin brush, then trimming it down...

I did that too, but I've find that even properly stored, they still fray..
