Not only was he a pretty important character in IDW’s Last Stand of the Wreckers, but he was a pretty cool bot in the Transformers Collector’s Club comic this past year. Funpub upped their game and released Ironfist (aka Fisitron) as the 2011 Botcon attendee freebie exclusive figure. Edit: can a mod fix my title? Fisitron ![]() Alt Mode: Fisitron uses the corrected Ironhide mold and painted in some garish colors. The color scheme harkens back to the G2 Ironfist figure, but not completely. Instead of using a tannish-orange color for the base, Funpub stuck to a fake-tan orange. In the grand scheme of it all, this orange color matches with the turquoise pretty well. There are some magenta highlights on the figure, and that just adds to the charm. I do like that the Autobot sigil is plastered on the side of the vehicle; instead of the hood. ![]() Robot Mode: In robot mode, Fisitron looks really good. The Ironhide mold works, even if it still has the EMP connector port on the left arm. The new head looks interesting, but I'd have to say that it's the weakest looking one. It could be due to how it was designed, but the head looks asymmetrical in a bad way for me. People will disagree with me, but I'm not a huge fan. The paint apps on it, however, are crisp. Fisitron comes loaded with the same knuckle busters, but are casted in the same black plastic that was used for Sideswipe. While I wish a huge BFG was specially made for the figure, I understand how that's not really a possibility. I can live with it. ![]() Overall: Fisitron is great, and unique enough to stand out in any Transformers Animated collection. It's great that those of us who attended the convention got them for free, but beyond that I'd still gladly pay money to get one. If you can find it for an affordable price, I highly recommend this guy. (For more pics and reviews: The Rabbit Haul) Last edited by CookSux; 06-07-2011 at 04:04 PM.. |

Nevermind Fisitron is an anagram of Ironfist, so thats apparently the right one. ![]() Xbox 360 Gamertag, PSN & Steam ID: RecallBerserk Last edited by Recall; 06-04-2011 at 07:07 AM.. |

SJ's FeedbackI really like this figure for some odd reason. His colors are roadbuster-esque in nature. http://hivefullofbees.tumblr.com/ Looking for: Universe/Henkei Starscream, U. Nemesis Prime Missiles, Botcon 2010 Turbomaster and Ravage |
