I swapped his head with a spare Acid Storm's. Looks fantastic.

Got mine yesterday. Not a single issue. Anyone that has used words like "gorgeous" to describe him is spot on. The colors are everything given that we've all had the mold a hundred times over, and they really got the job done right imo.

I got mine this past weekend. I don't like the blue they used and the red on his waist and shoulders stand out too much. For some reason when I look at him, he's not Thundercracker to me. Probably the combination of the dark blue and red, but he appears as a blue seeker to me.

Anyway, my Thundercracker suffers from the loose nullray the Henkei suffered from. Not as bad as the Henkei, but his left nullray (your right if you look at him face to face) is loose and can be pulled out easily or fall out if you turn his arm. Sounds like most don't have this problem, but have there been others reports of this?

Nope, my Thundercracker is pretty much perfect. Ditto for the other 3 Thundercrackers that i got.

The color for the Generations Thundercracker is very reminiscent of the G1 toy - at least to me it is. I had the G1 toy, and when I got my Thundercracker that's the first thing I thought of.

You're actually the first I've heard mention a loose arm cannon - everyone else I've heard from has indicated everything is tight (sometimes too tight).

Maybe I got too attached to the Botcon blue. Or maybe the red waist and shoulder stand out too much for me. I just don't know why it doesn't stand out as Thundercracker to me that much.

I the entire left side of him is all messed up on mine! The nullray is a little loose (not as loose as Henkei) and his left foot can't extend all the way. If I pull it all the way out, it'll spring back up a few mm. When he stands, his foot is noticeably higher than his right.

Ugh - perhaps you got a bad one? Are you able to exchange that one?

Unfortunately not. I got mine off HTS and they've been OOS since I ordered him last week. In fact, my order was completely messed up! I ordered Thundercracker along with 2 Wheeljacks, and I only got 1 Wheeljack. Since Wheeljack is OOS too, I got a refund on him at least.

My Thundercracker has the same problem with his left foot...as does my Dirge. There are definite signs of mold degradation coming through, although the rest of my figure is pretty tight. Paint scheme is nice though...

Remarks: Eh, okay. Let's see. We had Starscream, Ramjet, and Skywarp in Classics, we had the Botcon exclusives Thundercracker, Dirge, and Thrust, we then continued with another Starscream and Acid Storm in Universe, and now Generations brings us Thrust, Dirge, and finally Thundercracker. Oh, and those are just the Western releases, I'm not counting the various Japanese versions. So the question is, what is there left for me to write about here?

Not much. He might just be the best-painted of the Western Seekers, but apart from that he's just another version of the same mold. I bought him to get my original Seeker trio together, that's all. So recommended to Seeker fans and completists, but all others who already got one or more versions of this mold might just as well skip it.

Finally got him in. Great condition with no flaws, yay for seeker completion!

Apart from that little niggle with his foot (popped the leg open - surprisingly, Thundercracker's shins aren't glued like every other version of the mold - turns out there's a little extra plastic around the pivot area, so just sliced it out), I'm really surprised at the overall good quality of the figure.

After mold degradation reportedly caused issues with Universe Starscream, and some of the Henkei/Gentei releases, I'd figured that Thundercracker here would have suffered similar issues. But nope. Mold still looks clean, details are sharp, and the joints are great, actually better than most versions of the mold right out of the box, with sturdier hip joints, and tight arm blaster connections.

I know this is a tad late, but I had similar issues with an acid storm. There's a screw or two behind the arms that you can try to tighten. What I did was I took apart the shoulder, and put it back together on the acid storm I had and the null rays sit just fine on him now (making sure the screw was all the way in and as tight as I could get it without breaking anything or causing stress marks). But becareful you don't use "too much force." Try that and see if it works for you too?

Got this guy a few days ago. What an amazing seeker. My favorite to date.

The only version of this mold I have is Acid Storm. I always likes the reverse cockpit flip that forms his chest, and the way the arms tucked in. But the legs, oversized null rays that refused to stay on, and floppy wings ruined it for me.
I have him, Warpath, and Wheeljack on their way. I can only hope TC fairs better in my eyes in comparison to Ass-id storm..

Wow.....I am soo impressed with this version of the mould. I would figure there would be massive mould degridation but I guess I was mistaken. I did have to touch up the black on the head and lil spots here and there on the silver chest (the boobs), other than that.....great work on T-cracker.

I have two of the TCs myself and noticed sometimes there's slight paint "boo boos" here n there, but one of them is "perfect"...... *shrugs*
