I don't know if it's just mine but there are a few issues that might crop up in others. I havn't take any photos yet but will soon 1) The mechanism in the left foot has slipped so that the foot cannot sit as far back as the other when standing and it tends to make Roddy fall over on occasion. This happened after about 30 minutes. 2) The backpack is clipped on by a small grey pice. Unfortunately, this piece has all but the most tenuous grip so that the back pack unlocks and the Fins flop backwards far too often. 3) The hands cannot hold the individual guns AT ALL. The pegs on the guns are far too small and the thumb cannot wrap around the handle. I can't pose him in any good poses with the guns and have to have gravity friendly poses. VERY annoyed by this. 4) Not a problem but take care when putting Roddy into the cabin to form the winnebago. The whole toy is a bunch of hinges and some feel very thin. The fin section on mine make some unsettling creaky noise when I slot it in. 4) The engine block (though spring loaded to collapse) presses against the windshield on mine when in robot mode. A little worried about scratching but probably not a big issue. Just being overly cautious. 5) When you rotate the fist around to reveal the post for the saw-blade/welder, the fist doesn't seem to wnat to go in the forearm completely so you have a gap in the door. But again, maybe I just need to fiddle around with it. 6) The black side parts on the lower leg swing out on a hinge. Both of mine came of the pin with little trouble. I was able to slot them back on and hoping they don't come off again as they are not designed to come off like some other parts. It's still an A-MAZING toy and probably the best MP released. There are FAR more pros than the cons mentioned here. I am still annoyed about the guns. Will have to add nail polish or something but not sure if it will work as it is such a huge difference in the size of the gap and the peg. |

Collection Count: Lost count | Master Piece Rodimus Prime Guys, just picked up Master Piece Rodimus Prime! My apologies for the limited pictures as I'm rushed for time. Impressions so far - a good toy, well at least in Hot Rod mode! The joints are tight with no parts dangling! He looks to be around G1 Galvatron size! I can't compare because ALL my TFs are in storage (I'm doing some major house cleaning) so best I can do is compare it to a MOTU and SH Figuarts figures! *Awww crap guys! I'm having difficulty uploading my pictures to photobucket!!! @#%!!! Front ![]() Back ![]() Comparison with a MOTU and SH Figuart action figure ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |
