I just check and there is no youtube review on it. Hope to see it soon.

If it is same complex like MP05, best for me is to read from youtube and transform :)

Not as complex bro but almost there. ;)

I think we just need to fiddle with it a little bit more as it has very involved transformation & it's quite an ambitious piece. some parts of it are rather intuitive while other sections, we have to go back & forth until we get it right somehow.

I managed to transformed mine and everything clicks into place. The only problem I had were some scratches on the fin when I tried fitting it into the trailer! XD

these little qc issues better not be a widespread problem. seems like the few people that did get him are all having some sort of problem or issues. i'm sorry but when we're paying $200+ for a fig this crap shouldn't be happening.

I still have my G1 Galvatron too. I'm thinking Galvatron is 11inches tall? I've forgotten

Thanks for the heads up on these issues! Mine hasn't shipped from BBTS yet and I'm kind of going out of my mind with anticipation.

Really disappointed to hear some of this stuff though, especially the guns not pegging into the hands.

Yup that's what I'm afraid of, I hope this won't be a repeat of MP-03 Starscream where the fragility QC issues were rather widespread. :redface2:

It was only rectified a year later with Hasbro's MP version.

Question: Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime - what's involved in the transformation (besides the face-swap) i.e. is there some kind of automorphing feature going on or is there some required transformation involving the legs, arms, and fins?

In a nutshell, pull up his helmet & swap the face, extend the thighs & push up the wings. that's all man.

    Nope. no automorphing gimmick.

Or, rather, the CLAIMS of fragility issues were rather widespread. The actual problem was that people were treating MP-03 as a toy and not as an adult collectible.

My MP-09 is on its way and I'm sure that if MP-05's numerous little issues didn't bother me too much, MP-09 will be perfectly fine.

I really like the comparison pics with G1 Galvatron; they actually look good together. Maybe even better with the purple takara re-issue? I'd also like to see comparison pics with leader Energon Galvatron. I'm thinking the aesthetics will be more consistent.

BTW - Wasn't there a mention or blurb that the next MP figure would be announced through Rodimus' base stand. I'm wondering if Galvatron is the next MP figure?

Yeah those pics of Rodi and Galvatron just make me want an MP Galvatron even more. And even though, I assume, they'll be about the same height, the MP, I can imagine, will be oh so much better in terms of transformation, maybe more accurate movie alt. mode and of course MP level of articulation and engineering.

As far as the mention of the next MP, that is supposedly included with the stand that will be included with the MP OP repaint the "final edition" Optimus Prime, which I believe will be available in another couple months.

It's more akin to ROTF Leader Prime actually, so it's not so bad ;)

Yep tentatively slated for March release.

Wow, didn't expect to hear so many complaints. I'm honestly glad I waited. Hasbro won't put out their version unless they're sure that a five year old can pick it up and not be killed by flying plastic shrapnel. ;)

Not that I"m expecting it to be made perfect, but things like "guns not fitting in hands" are just the sort of issues that get ironed out in a second run.

I for one don't think having a complicated transformation makes for a better figure. I look for solid engineering and construction, higher quality materials, larger scale, articulation and a better resemblance to their animated appearance. So far MP Optimus and Grimlock are my favorite MP's, but they seem to be more of an exception to the line than the rule.

this may be wierd but honestly I think mp optimus is easier than rotf leader class optimus because of all the pieces that pop out of where the hands are and mp opti is quite bulky and straight forth
