Got this guy in today. He's a cool add on but I think City Commander is better. I wont go in to to much detail since we know everything about this add-on by now but I have to say I'm disappointed with how it looks color wise. I per-ordered because I thought it was going to be made for SG Rodimus as that's how it was advertised on tfsource but it looks like it was colored for Wildrider instead. Don't get me wrong it still looks good on him its just not what I thought I was going to get. Thanks for sharing these. I should be getting mine today, so hopefully I'll have some photos to post later, showing the armor on Classics Rodimus. The chainsword/chainspear is giving me a strong Space Marine vibe.
wow youre right. it looks a lot more for Wildrider. There are a lot of lost paints apps that where shown in the image art that did not get translated to the final figure. I can see the dissappointment as I too though it was more for Rodimus. There is a lot more red all over on this than there is in the art image. No purple on the chest, no purple on the fins, no purple on the crest part of the head. Instead we have red on the head, on the waist, the arms and hands. The little purple that does show with Rodimus now looks out of place.
Looks great, but I just can't help but keep thinking that for the cost of this set (ie including SG Rodimus or Wildrider) you could almost buy a complete Fortress Maximus.
I'm a little disappointed too. I paid $350 to get mine because anything SG rodimus is worth it to me but this seems to be for Wildrider. I got to find someone local to do some detail work on it to get it closer to Rodimus' color scheme
I'm hoping that we'll see a KO done like in the artwork (its like that in the comic too) or that FP dose it themselves with a second run. If neither happen I might paint it.
I think the Scyther armor looks pretty good with Classics and Sons of Cybertron Rodimus' bot mode. I'm really curious to see how it meshes/clashes with the E-Hobby clear blue version as I think it would give off a slight spectral vibe.
It looks kinda cool on the SoC Rodimus and it'll probably look awesome on that clear blue Rodimus that's coming down the pike. I really should stay out of this thread, though. I missed out on this set and these pics are going to make me want one more than I already do. Hopefully a KO set is on the way.
i think if you took a classics rodimus, and replaced the orange pieces with the grey from a botcon rodimus or wildrider it could look nice maybe with all the red and black then.
Hi, nice pics can the scythe be stored somewhere in vehicle mode, like the sword did in shadow commander?
This isn't to "hate", but I'm actually glad I **don't** like that as much as I thought I would with the pictures now, because it's money that can be spent on other things. I do kinda' wish I had that face plate to swap with protector though.

I like the Botcon Rod, even though the Henkai looks great too. SG Rodimus seems to fit the idea better the Wildrider to me.
Oh man... He looks pretty freaking spectacular on SoC Rodimus... So good that I'm not even sure I even want to open my Henkei Wildrider. Sadly, my SG Rodimus is at my parents' place
