How would people have felt if his arm wheels had been connected with pull plugs and there was a 3mm clip on them too so you had the option to pull off the wheels and plug them out of the way onto the two clips on his back in robot mode?
I would disconnect the wheels, plug them onto the arms panels, and then plug the arm panels on his back...
The floppy neck joint is common. Just push the head back until you feel it pop back onto the balljoint. As for the panel, best way to fix it is to tighten the three screws on his back. Then the panel should catch without issue.
got the neck un-flopped. i'll check back after screwing that in... EDIT: wow. like night and day. Thank you!
Just picked him up today. The yelling face is a bit of a weak point, but in a humorous way. The shoulder joints seem a little low, too. That's my only real gripe. Otherwise, there is nothing I don't like about this toy. I normally take a silver sharpie to all-black wheels... but I think these ones need to stay black. I was planning to ignore the iGear heads... but having the figure in hand, I'm considering it.
The one thing that kinda bugged me is the Autobot symbol on the faux windshield/chest area. I know that's supposed to be toy accurate and that even the United version has this paint app but the eHobby version made it more toon accurate with the Autobot symbol right below the windshield. On mine, I got rid of the already badly tampo'ed Autobot symbol with an alcohol swab and put a small symbol right underneath to make it look more like the eHobby version. Looks much better now! Beyond that, the best Generations figure to date, IMO.
Yea, I noticed this to and I've gotten over it I will have my United/Generations Kup in vehicle mode most of the time and E-hobby in Robot. Bad part is I bought the heads for the Gen. version.
I hope the i-gear head fits better than the wobble head on my Kup, I try pushing it up and down, but it still feels loose.
I think I got lucky on the head for mine. Makes me not want to mess around with it and put the iGear one on it haha.
Thanks. Originally I was planning on using the two exhaust pieces because I didn't like how his ankles looked in robot mode (one with a hole, one filled in). I decided to try it this way first to see if I could place both guns underneath in vehicle mode. Much to my surprise they do and the second gun stays in place pretty good even though it is only pegged into the one spot. Either way I have one of each now.
^ Well for me I'm just going to let Kup as is, the hole in one leg or whatever doesn't really bother me all that much, but its a nice mod to do. If you want to make Kup hold two laser muskets, in which is really badass.
kup's a great figure and i finally found him today at my local toysrus. love his automorph like transformation but does anyone else have a problem with the head going down transforming him back
Try pulling the head towards you, forward on the ball-joint (not upwards, but horizontally forwards). It sounds like yours did what mine did and slipped off the ball joint inside the head.
