That's a great idea!! I agree that it's hard to see Brawn's guns.. although Brawn's guns on Fallback won't look half as good. Still, at least a reason to pick him up when he goes on clearance.

 

I can't bring myself to purchase him. I just know he'd sit on my shelf for months, MOSC, before I finally decided to try and flog him and would end up making a fraction of my money back.

So, I see a duel homage to Outback, and to Armada Demolisher. And it's awesome...
I'm inclined to say that I like this deco more then I like Brawns, but I'm not sure... they may be on par.

 

I got him at a convention, and the mold itself is good. But he just looks so boring in these colors, so damn dull. There's nothing really interesting about him. It didn't bother me in the initial pictures, but in person, it's really quite noticeable.

Remarks: Fallback here is a straight-up repaint of Revenge of the Fallen Brawn, so look for the full review there. Just some words on the differences. Given that G1 Brawn was repainted (and given a new face) into G1 Outback, it only made sense to repaint (sadly without a new head or anything) his ROTF successor into ... well, Fallback. I guess the Outback name was not available or couldn't be trademarked. Anyway, Fallback has gotten a makeover in Outback's beige and reddish-brown colors and... yeah, that's pretty much it. Still the exact same excellent figure from before, just with a different paintjob. Personally I like Brawn's colors a bit more, but that's entirely subjective, naturally. So bottom line: Brawn was definitely among the best Deluxe-class figures from Revenge of the Fallen and his repaint is just as good. So if you missed Brawn, Fallback is definitely worth a look. Only avoid him if you detest shell-formers.

I have this figure since 2 or more years, I don't remember, but today I transform him and is impressive, awesome in both modes.

 

Fallback is fine to me. His lighter color scheme makes him easier on the eyes than Brawn, but I never owned Brawn.

 

Why the sigh? He's not a bad figure
