Marveling over Jazz for the umpteenth time, I noticed the detailing on the thin black strips that make the top sides of his forearms; the shape of his headlights are molded on there, so with a little painting, one could conceivably make Jazz that much more movie-accurate.

Doesn't show or say in the instructions that you can push the front wheel of the bike back to make the two wheels clamp together for the gun.

Makes the gun feel A LOT more solid.

Just an all around great figure, instantly one my favorites. It's just a shame the other HA figures aren't this good.

This figure is so nice. I finally found one at a target thats kinda far away. It was the last one they had, so yay for me. I love the leg transformation. They way they unfold into so much is pretty clever. Jazz just looks so sweet. He does have some backpack kibble, but it sits nice and fluch with his body-not like Bumblebbe and skids where you had a gaping hole between the body and backpack. Another nice thing I didn't realize before from the pics-Not only does the center of his chest rotate around, the sides can angle up for a more deformed movie look. His hands are a little weird, but they were that way in the film, so its all good. I think it really helped the figure buy omitting actual seats. This way there are no unsightly seats hanging off him in robot mode. (I never collected these for the human interaction-just for the bots) It's kinda a shame the arms couldn't have the headlights on them, but the way the transformation works prevented that. It's such a cool transformation that it is easily forgivable. His battle mask feature just rocks. The weapon he comes with is a pretty good match for his weapon in fiction. I like it a lot. The motorcyle mode is kinda lacking, but I'm glad they did that instead of trying to incorperate it into jazz himself. The car mode looks prety cool. Especially when you compare it to the deluxe. The sculpted details just seem to "pop" more. The only negatives for me are that his eyes are unpainted, making them reall hard to see. Also- When transforming back to car mode, be careful when rotating the car windows on his doors back out. Mine like to pop off sometimes. All-in-all, this is one of the best HA figures to date. His transformation feels more like the spirit of bumblebee's. This is a very satisfying figure, well worth the price. Buy him as soon as you can.

I was able to find some of these last night. The guy at target went in back and found me one with the correct windows. The one on the shelf had the 2 passanger window problem.

Overall best of the line. Bumblebee is now second only because jazz at least has 2 claws/hands.

HA Jazz has become my favorite in the HA line. They seem to keep getting better.

When can we expect the black repaint of HA Sideswipe....(Road Rage)?

One of the things I did tonight with mine was transform him from robot to alt mode ala RotF Shanghai Sideways style (running and flipping into car mode). It was in slow motion on my couch :D

In alt mode, Jazz did donuts on my couch too. Fun times, gang. Fun times :)

Alright, I got Jazz Lastnight but I just now transformed him for the first time. What an impressive figure.....Easily the best in the Human Alliace line by a huge margin. My only issue is that his arms are a lil bit scrwny in comparison to the rest of him. I am soo very impressed!!!!! Purchase on sight !!!!!!!

The more I look at Jazz, the more I'm tempted by him. But, in all honesty, I would have rather seen other RotF figures made into Human Alliance figures then from the first movie. Barricade was cool, Jazz is awesome, but Jolt needs his love, too! Heck, I'd even be willing to pay $10 more for a much larger HA Ironhide or Ratchet.

Yeah this is the only flaw with this line. We're running out of characters that will fit this size class as it stands, and they're about to dip into nonsense repaints after six original molds. We already have Mudflap, Skids, Bumblebee, Barricade, Jazz, and Sideswipe, with a Sideswipe repaint on the way. Only things left from the movie characters that would fit are Sideways (W/Alice?), Classic Camaro BB (unlikely), Jolt (w/Douchebag politician?), and maybe the ice cream truck version of the Twins.

Oh, man, I'd love a Classics Camaro BB even if it was a straight remold of the 2010 Camaro! BRING IT ON! I LOVE classic cars. As for Sideways and Alice? Why not! That could be cool as hell. Sideway's gimmick would be a launching spinning blade. Jolt would be partnered with General Morshower (sp?). The twins that splits in two wouldn't even need a figure, unless it was SWEETTOOTH from Twisted Metal!

Drop down the scale from around the 1:23 to 1:27 range to 1:32 and do a HA Ironhide and Ratchet with desert decos and robot battle damage. It would be from the tail end of RotF and they could come with little soldier figures from NEST, Jordanian and Egyptian! Sorry, I know, as likely as a 1:24 Human Alliance Optimus Prime.

Or, why not start on the non-canon figures that have received deluxe toys? I'd make a mess in my pants if they did an H3T version of Brawn in the HA line partnered with that Australian actor (who had what, one to three lines)? There are many ways that the HA line could be drawn out if it proves to be successful. Apparently it is successful enough to have DEAD characters be made into toys.

had him a couple of days now and he really is the best figure in the line.
impressive that so much robot comes out of a car that isn't massively bigger than a deluxe. quality engineering.
i got the takara version. didn't know about the differences until a few days after ordering him. no great shakes when you compare the two.
the rim of the visor is painted silver which helps it 'pop' more. black hands are no more accurate than the copper ones and the black panel on his shoulder is more uniform.
you win regardless as it's a great figure.

Human Alliance Autobot Jazz is a great toy because he has hands and is not completely disproportionate.

Has it legitimately not occurred to you that there is another movie coming?

    And a TV series?

And 20 prior years of Transformers?

Nothing about Human Alliance restricts it to a Revenge of the Fallen tie-in. Notice how suddenly we have Movie Activators?

I agree with you as well. I could arguably be the biggest RotF Sideways fan out here, as well as Jolt :lol  I want HA figures of these two so bad I can't stand it.

Well, just like the Alt/BT line, repaints are almost an essential part of keeping the line alive just because of the tooling of these molds (which is why I think we'll end up seeing Mudflap again). Honestly, as long as the repaints are cool (I was planning a black Sideswipe myself! Thanks, Hasbro :D ), I'm game :)

I have to agree......next to the Alternators, the Human Alliance figs. are the next best thing !!!
