Here is a quick PIC review of Hunt for the Decepticons scout class Brimstone.
This guys is by far one of my favorite among the already awesome scouts we have received from the movie, Hunt for line. Great personality and design.

Brimstone is a low rider styled motorbike. Front tire suspension can move forward and backwards and that is about it. Does have a kickstand.

    Alt. mode:

    Bot mode:
In bot mode, Brimstone has a very skeletal appearance, especially his head. Also his head is very similar to Skystalker that if tilted downwards with the red dot on the forehead and shape is very similar. Brimstone has average articulation for a scout. He really has no hands other than some very small and thin fingers that pop out of the tire areas on the arms. You can either have them out or in for a more bladed hands look, which is what I prefer.

I have this desire to turn this toy into a good version of the Armada/Energon Highwire character.

I don't think I've ever seen a chopper with the front forks bent like that. They are his elbows in bot mode but probably should be straight for bike mode.

It is quite a good toy - digging the head sculpt.

RotF has given us probably the best line of scout figures we've ever had.

It's quite a nice figure, though the front end of the alt mode can be a little fiddly.

Brimstone is just as badass as I thought he'd be. The head sculpt is quite intimidating and kinda creepy, to be honest.

Absolutely. I'm continually shocked at how many different ways Hasbro can put together good sculpts with motorcycles as bases. Road Rocket, Animated Prowl, Knock Out and now this hog...I wish the ROTF ladies turned out a bit better. :(

I don't remember who said it, but Brimstone indeed looks like a chromed, demonic Jack Skellington. I have tiny critiques, like maybe wishing for a fatter rear tire (for more custom chopper aesthetic, and to give him some bulk in his chest), but he's really a great design. Almost everything hides or snaps together surprisingly well in chopper mode, and a unique, well-articulated bot mode awaits at the other end.

I wonder if I can find Road Rocket on eBay...

Even moreso, though, he's BW Manterror. He's based off of his pre-Earth body from the "Beast Wars: the Gathering" comic. Well, that combined with a motorcycle seen briefly at the beginning of Revenge of the Fallen.

Despite being so spindly, this guy's an amazingly sturdy toy. Tight joints all around on my copy. Great articulation in the arms, despite being so insubstantial.

I picked up this guy tonight without hesitation. Awesome figure for a scout, but he suffers from the gray plastic syndrome which bothers me to no end.

Just received this guy, he's pretty much exactly what I was hoping for from his pictures. Creepy little buzzsaw-murderer dude. Great looking bike, in terms of colors, the model, and sculpted detail.

Transformation to bike mode is mostly simple and fun, though getting the front wheel lined properly takes some fiddling. When you get it in the right place though, it lines up easily.

His arm articulation is better than I hoped it would be, though his leg articulation is nothing special. His joints are really tight for a ball-jointed guy. For all the cries of "poor QC in the recent lines," this guy defies them.

His bot mode actually has a somewhat bulky torso/back, but it hides itself fairly well by distracting you with his unique aesthetic. I like how his bot mode is centered around the back tire; I can imagine if he were ever animated, they could show the wheel constantly spinning to signify his energy source.

He's got a lot of personality for a little skinny dude, I think anyone'd be satisfied with him. Now to open Hubcap!

:mail  <---By Monday morning, i should have mine in hand from HTS.
someone at Hasbro has to speak up for us and give us 1, maybe 2 scouts like this per wave, just to keep us collecting.

the more i see of this guy, the more i wish Brim had been made into Deluxe like Oil Slick, and vice versa.
(Oil Slick's hands bug me so much. the rest of him rocks, btw.)
