Unreleased or un-circulated, whatever you want to call it, these guys never saw the light of day. These 2, along with Autobot Backtrack, were to be released at the tail end of line but were never released, though produced. They were to be thought of as Target exclusives as Target had already released several Energon/Cybertron repainted molds exclusively. These 2 repaints of the combiner limbs that formed Energon Bruticus gave us hope or insight into a possible new Bruticus combiner, but it never happened. Is it possible they were never released due to the ROTF Bruticus set that was released. It is possible. Also these basics come with 2 sets of instructions. One in English which is printed on the traditional glossy paper, were the second is more just like regular paper but in Spanish. The bottom of the boxes which is all normally in English is covered over with a sticker now all in Spanish. So maybe they were to to be released internationally only? The instructions also mention no possibility of combining or being part of a set. Just transformation from alt. mode into robot. REVERB - Or movie Waspinator? GUNBARRELL - Looks almost like Tigerhawk?! DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS

It's too bad these weren't released. I definitely woulda picked these up to add to my little "energon" gestalt collection. I really like the color schemes of these guys!
Where the heck did you get Gunbarrel?! I liked that character from his bio alone so much that it was the main reason I wanted him! And in terms of colors, he actually could pass as a Classics version of Hasbro-release RID Armorhide (the infamous "Blue Brawl").
I would have bought two of these on the spot. They have excellent decos. Thanks for the review Deceptigtar. And Hasbro, please release these.

Very nice, awaiting my own now before I see whether to order enough to sell them. I still think these are meant to pay homage to Target Hawk and Sandstorm from the Battle Gaia set.
I can see Target Hawk, but the colors aren't right for Sandstorm. Not sure what it's supposed to be, though. I'll try to ask Joe Kyde at BotCon.
They're not *quite* right, true. The dark parts are good but I agree the grey does not match the cream color of Sandstorm so well. I'm just not sure that rules it out.
man, ive been back and forth on these two, and now i think i've decided i definitely need them... with FP doing the two Crossfires, i'll have two extra limbs... and if i got these two, then i'd only need one more torso to make my own combiner...
