Here is the pictorial review for the ROTF repaint Longhaul into Hunt for the Decepticons Payload!

This will just be some shots of Payload since we all know the figure. If someone ask and really wants some comparison picks I will try my best, but I only collect CONS, so the likely hood with a Bot is unlikely, save for maybe a small handful.

He retains all the same details, transformation and gimmicks like his voyager ROTF Longhaul counterpart. Here Payload is in a more G2 color scheme, also very similar to the unlockable skin for Longhaul in the ROTF video game.

He has some really nice accents of purple and some dirty mud detailed on his side panels, but not in the bed of the truck which is kind of odd as I would like to have seen that added detail. Some more silver in the face and the chest would be nice but attainable with a silver sharpie should you feel the need.

One of my favorite repaints so far from one the better/fun molds of the ROTF line.

Pretty cool. I dig the weathering effects, the black and purple, and the red blades. Probably a pass though, as it's just a repaint of the Long Haul I have already.

The purple "suspenders" on him remind me of Wario  Looks great, but trying to cut down on the repaints so I'll probably pass. Would it be too much to ask of some pics with the original? 

 

the color on those tires is a huge turnoff to me... puke green?

 

its more like baby poop color, haha.

i think they were going for dirty tires kind of.

 

GREAT choice of colours. I love the weathering on the sides of the dump truck. IMO, if you don't already have Long Haul, this looks to be the more visually appealing version of the toy. If you do, this is still worth considering.

 

This thing may be horrendously ugly, but I'm still going to buy it anyway.

Some of the yellows look a bit two-tone. Is it just the lighting in the pics or is that how it really is in 'person'?

 

Just like Long Haul, I will make sure he is a pick up. Very awesome figure. Really cool colors. I'm gonna make my own little contruction site like when I was younger in the sandbox.

yes there are some differences in the yellow. some is actual yellow plastic and some parts are painted yellow and the plastic underneath seems to be of another color.
