hI there, I have been trying to find conclusive info on greenscream as the info on the other versions are more forthcoming. Anyone out there have greenscream and the hasbro version... which is better/preferred and why. I heard there where quality issues with the greenscream and hasbro made it better. Thanks in advance.
As much as I am loath to admit it, Hasbro got it right on this one. I bought the Japanese one which has much nicer packaging, but the Hasbro one IS Starscream. I've not had QC issues on either. The Tak / Bro Skywarp debate is harder, I think the Hasbro Skywarp has a more accurate paint-job and a better jet mode (love the extra purple), but I kept the Japanese one for the red eyes in robot mode, as opposed to the Hasbro yellow eyes.

Personally, I like the original MP-03 myself, it stands out more.
I don't have the Hasbro version, but the quality of the plastic on the Tak version blows. I'm afraid to transform it anymore. And I do argee with Bruce Wayne up there, I really like the color on the MP-03

ive got the grey nosecone one i no its not as accurate as the blue nosecone one but i think it looks better
If you want a definitive G1 starscream then get the hasbro one. MP-03 is a generic seeker now in my opinion. Oh and with some work you can get the gray off the nosecone to reveal the blue underneath for an even better looking fig.
I love my MP seekers i have both versions and i have to say get the hasbro one just because its more iconic in the proper colors. I have the hasbro one with the coronation set and the MP 03 just as another seeker. And yea welcome to TFW.
Get both But if you can't get both, get the Hasbro version. It's cheaper, feels a little sturdier (IMHO) and looks like Starscream, whereas the other one, though cool, feels like "Generic Seeker Number Six."
I am going to go against the crowd here. I have all three versions. While the Hasbro version just IS Starscream, there is a lot of unpainted plastic in him, particularly the red sections, that just make him look cheaper. If you can get over the fact that SS got a respray, then I do like GreenScream. However, to a lot of people, MP03 is just not right, and I am very careful with all of my MP transformations, so I cant comment on the quality there.
