Racist!!! Racist!!!!!! (J/k). Personally I wonder what's the quality on the KO's. IMO if the quality is really good, then it's worth it, no? I've thought about buying one but stopped because it's a little too big to scale with the rest of the movie lines' leader/voy/deluxe.

    I'll let you know :p

But have there been any reports of KOs being sold by sellers with almost perfect feedback ratings?

Perfect feedback is about the seller, not the item. There are a lot of people with perfect feedback who are selling KO items. Sometimes the KOs are so good that they buyer doesnt even know, sometimes the buyer knows that they are getting a KO and accepts with when they win. Both times, good feedback is left.

I have heard that the KO Barricade is actually an excellent version, almost as good as the official one, but I would estimate that 60%-70% of HA Barricades on eBay right now are the KO, even if they dont admit to it (in the same way that most of the Alternators SDCC Hot Rods are KOs).

At $64 shipped its almost certainly a KO, and coming from China seals it. Authentic figures go for twice that. But, its probably a good quality KO, if that helps.

So how can I tell if it's a KO? I got it in the mail yesterday and it seems a little floppy (one of the doors doesn't close very well) and light, but it looks good! I haven't transformed him yet since I went out last night, but I'm beginning to worry that he is indeed a KO just from the feel alone. Frenzy is pretty floppy too, but not bad I guess. The packaging was really good looking, which made me think it's not a KO, but who knows?

    Thanks for the links!

Seems like mine is probably a KO, but I can't really be sure without having the real thing. If it IS a KO then color me impressed at the job they did! Although I'm still disappointed.

Look at it this way, its either a really good quality KO for a reasonable price, or an authentic version for twice that. Which would you prefer?

Does anyone know what those flaps on his hips/thighs are for?

So now that I have the real one I can safely say that this is my favorite HA figure (out of 5 that I own) for sure! He's menacing and awesome. His transformation is complex but not irritating like some of the other HAs, and his alliance partner isn't completely useless. He's really posable and balances well.

The two main complaints I have are: I wish he had a second hand, and I wish he had ankle pivoting. I know he has those flaps for balance that work well, but they still look weird, and they're not as solid as a good ankle pivot would have been.

They're for detail accuracy, awesomely enough... He's got a piece of car sticking out of each hip, so they incorporated that into the toy.

Yep. I was lucky enough to stumble across him in a local WM back when he was released. I say lucky because A.) I never saw him at that WM again and B.) only saw him elsewhere 1 or 2 other times. Anyway, STILL love this guy 3 1/2 years later! Out of the 5 HA figs I have (the others being Skids, Mudflap, Soundwave and Jazz) he is still my absolute favorite. A masterfully crafted toy.

Same as this. Stumbled upon him and he was an impulse buy, and he's by far my fav HA figure, even one of my overall fav movie figures.

Man, has it already been 3 1/2 years since this came out? Jeez.

I resisted getting him since I thought the original deluxe was fine and seeing as he hadn't appeared in RotF I thought that he had just disappeared. What a fool I was! Good thing I got him now though since I really don't care for most of the TF Prime stuff (especially beast hunters so far).

I'm no pro on KO's, but from what I can tell, it looks like the real deal. Looks just like mine at least... My only indication that it may be a KO is in your first alt. mode pic. There's quite a bit of gapping between all his panels. I know how nice and tight mine fits together, making it beautifully seamless. BUT that could mearly be how you transformed it, I don't know.

Yeah i have a little problem holding everything together in his alt. mode.
I will transform him back to see if i can do it better :) .
But overall he looks pretty awesome for just 30 bucks.

$30?? Well, that says a lot too. For a MISB HA Barricade you either got an absolutely SWEET deal or it's most likely a KO.

However, from I've been reading about this particular KO you could have done much worse. Apparently it's very sturdy and well made. And again, from your pics, it looks great!

I've looked.real close.at your pics, I'm no expert, but I have had ha barricade since release, I have spent a TON of time with it. That one is a KO if you ask me. Looking at the front of the car, and the panel lines..my ha barricade TFs together so tight panel lines seem to disappear.

That said...that is a damn good KO. I remember when I was cracking out for ha mudflap wishing they made a KO so I could buy it, as I'm waaaay too cheap to pay quadruple what a toy details for.

Everything on yours looks great...I have always wanted an extra barricade to paint up like a Michigan state trooper...this KO may allow that.
