Just got my HA Barricade today and have not been able to put it down. This figure is so much fun and great looking too. Now all we need is for Hasbro to give us the 70's Camaro Bumblebee in the HA line.

I just found out the car panels on his calves that make the outer corners of his bumper can rotate upward.

Loving HA Barricade... I think he could use a partner: HA Sideways! He'd go great with HA Sideswipe!

I didn't think I would like HA Barricade as much as I do. It is much better than any pictures or video showed before. Highly recommend!

That's a tough call for me. I really like Skids, and Barricade is too new for me. I'll have a better opinion after I have had Barricade for a while.

In my opinon, as much as I like Human Alliance skids, I would have to say Barricade is the better figure. Barricades vehicle mode is deffinately better and I prefer the size of the robot mode.

One thing I really enjoy about Barricade being a HA bot, is that his HA interaction gimmicks with frenzy are easily hidden.

For example sideswipe has a huge missile launcher and seat on his back that you can't really put away when your Epps isn't using them. Barricade doesn't have a spring launcher (which I like) to hide, instead all his gimmicks can fold away (shoulder guns, chest guns) so you can really enjoy his detailed bot mode without features that give his HA class away. I really like coupling Barricade with the ranks of my other Decepticon Alternators.

this pretty much sums it up then.

Now i'll just wait for the leader Starscream to come out and see whether that or HA Barricade here is better

Got this in the mail from BBTS today (couldn't stand waiting any longer), and it was definitely worth the inflated price.

I have to say, Barricade is definitely the best HA toy. He's pretty accurate in comparison to the CGI model, alt. mode is excellent, and gimmicks don't get in the way of anything. That "awful brownish-grey plastic"? I didn't even think about it until coming up with comments for the feedback thread because, quite frankly, that "awful brownish-grey plastic" is more of a dark grey that blends in nicely with the rest of the colors; it does NOT stand out as much as it does in the promo pics.
Frenzy is decent, and can store in Barricade's chest, which is cool. The "guns" that rotate up from under Barricade's bumper are good replacements for those probe claw things he has. The sawblade hand isn't as obtrusive as you might think; sure, it would've been nice if he'd had two normal hands, but this really isn't bad and is a neat weapon anyway. Transformation is easy; no worries about forcing parts or scratching paint.
Alt. mode interior is the nicest of the HA toys, in my opinion.

Overall, I like Barricade even more than I thought I would, and I had pretty high expectations.
In my opinion, he's currently the second-best toy in the RotF line, second only to Leader Optimus Prime (though tied, as far as I'm concerned, with Lockdown because I'm a big Lockdown fan). If you're into movie toys, BUY THIS. If you're into Human Alliance toys, BUY THIS. If you don't particularly like movie toys but want to give them a shot, BUY THIS. You won't regret it; Barricade is just plain awesome in pretty much every way. My only minor complaints would be that he doesn't have all the extra police stuff on his alt. mode (the additional 643 and 9-1-1 markings that the premium Deluxe version has) and that the chest isn't quite CGI accurate. Aside from that, Barricade is top-notch.

Minus the hip joints, Barricade is aces. Main complain about the hip joint is it's not useful for forward or back hip motion....it's like those weird 'V' swivel joints Action figures sometimes have that are annoying as hell.

Everything else is pure love though...great mold, spectacular alt. mode, and fun transformation. I went in with fairly low expectations and was very pleasently surprised. Definitely my 2nd favorite HA toy after Bumblebee. In fact i's a VERY close second.

I like Skids but Barricade is definitely better.

That's a tough question. While I really like Skids for both the character and the figure, Barricade is superior. Skids has a more accurate robot mode, but Barricade has a decent robot mode, and an amazing vehicle mode. Plus he looks awesome posed fighting Bumblebee.

After having Barricade for a while now, he is definitely better than Skids. In my opinion, he is at the same level as Bumblebee.

I know that HA Mudflap will be the same as Skids, with a few variations, as seen in peaugh's video review.

I hope that they come out with more HA figures.

Barricade is better than HA Skids and Sideswipe, but not as good as Bumblebee, close though! The hips are weird, if the hips could be pivoted upwards more to align parallel to the waist, the articulation wouldn't suffer as much. Thankfully there are swivels above the knee which can alleviate the weird articulation.

The spring saw thing would be better if it secured into place better, it stays in place primarily due to the spring.

The size is great, and functionality with Frenzy is cool though the shoulder cannon could look better, looks lacking, wish it didn't make the shoulder look weird when in "armed" position either. This is the main reason the initial stock photos looked weird!

Overall it's an infinitely better figure than TF1 deluxe Barricade, I hope Jazz follows and does the same thing respectively! The weird hips and a few other nuances keep this from topping Bumblebee, but currently in my book, he takes 2nd place in the Human Alliance line! Need more Decepticons!
