I would love to have an original Human Alliance Barricade,but here in austria they sell it for like 250 dollars,i also saw some on ebay and amazon for 200.
Thats just too much for this toy.

But i´m happy i got such a good KO.

 

Yeah, he's a fantastic figure... I could easily say one of my absolute favorites (out of at least 100 figures), but not worth $200-$250 IMHO... not on my income at least. But if this KO holds up then I say you've gotten a great deal. Essentially you're getting the same figure for an 1/8th of the price! And can't forget Frenzy. Best, most accurate rendition... a great little figure himself.

 

I'm actually not convinced it's a KO yet. The panels don't really come together snug, but I remember at least on my own (real) one, the panels that form the pieces behind his back (in the middle of the hood) also stood out until I pushed them together and down a bit further.

Also, doing some digging, I found out that even when KO Barricade was found, people weren't actually sure if it was a knockoff or simply left over stock - although this information could be outdated? http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...o-ha-barricade-fresh-our-chinese-friends.html

We've all had some official toys on which one person claims some panels or joints are tighter, while for another person, they're really loose.

Either way, KO or original, it looks great, and for $30, it's a steal. My favorite remains Jazz, but Barricade is a LOT lot lot cooler than first official pics made him out to be. Good score!

 

Another thing i noticed,when you search for Human Alliance Barricade or Jazz on ebay,the new one´s for $30 don´t show up in the search results,like the one´s i bought.
Thats the first hint that those are KO´s.

 

His legs are too goofy. Can barely get a good pose out of him. Hey stays in alt mode for life.

 

The leg mod is a MUST for HA Barricade.

OK, You got it...your gunna keep it..DO the mod. The difference with the legs is night and day. It takes an awesome transformer to ultimate status, and its easy to do. For the life of me I dont know why Hasbro Made it like they did.

 

Some bizarre notion of "screen accuracy", I believe.

Either way, like others have said, the leg mod is an absolute must. I generally HATE cutting visible parts of a figure and I winced while doing the mod, but afterwards I was glad I did it.

YES. Thats the one. Just invloves cutting that blocker that you will never see in either modes. Aloows true hip movement.

When you do this mod, you can even spin the legs 180, swap feet, and give him an even cooler set of legs, and makes that one part of the back bumper that swings up fill in the leg nicely

 

real or not...$30 is a great price for one of the best TF Decepticons you can buy..

I got one of those $25 HA Barricades off of eBay...

Since I do not own another one, I cannot say whether or not this is "fake" but I highly doubt it. The packaging, the toy itself... Everything looks spot on. The plastic feels right, the paint apps looks exactly like the Hasbro release. As far as I can tell, this is the real deal. Possibly factory returns, or damaged leftovers? My box was crushed, with a huge gaping hole torn in the bubble. The thing is: it arrived "loose" in a ton of bubble wrap sealed up with packing tape. Kinda like a makeshift bubble mailer instead of a box. It's no wonder the packaging was ruined, but what if it were damaged before shipping? At this price, I would never complain anyways, and I'm sure the seller knows this.

If you missed out on this toy (like I regretfully did) and you don't mind a damaged box, then now's your chance!


So yeah, he's not the perfect toy (balance issues, wonky arms). But he looks GREAT in both modes and is an awesome addition to my HA collection! I finally have a definitive Movie Barricade  

 

this toy kicks some major ass. holy SHIT. my only complaints are how the saw likes to fly out on the way back to vehicle mode and the weird gap in the arm.

otherwise this guy is perfect, shit. frenzy... fuck that. this guy's kickass enough by himself.
