iirc, the deluxe Ratchet mold from the ROTF/NEST line (in the same wave as Lockdown, I believe) has a weapon that fits Lockdown's arm, in the same socket that his engine block does.

I think the white HFTD one that came with Axor works too, but I've never had that figure. I'm just assuming because those are the repaints.

Since I don't have the originals, but do have Axor and Rescue Ratchet, I can confirm it works. Putting Axor's engine on Ratchet just looks stupid, however.

Lockdown needs the MechTech treatment. He really aught to have a couple of 5mm-ports so he can actually make use of multiple "trophies," not just his own engine block, Ratchet's gun, and Armorhide's gun:

Is he like Voyager sized in robot mode? He seem's so extremely tall? Or is he mistransformed? I was thinking about maybe getting him for my Classics collection, but now I'm uncertain about him...

He is pretty much voyager sized in bot mode, but he's lanky rather than massive. It's the same trick that animated Lockdown pulled, it's quite impressive how such a tall robot fits into a normal deluxe scale car.

fwiw he kinda works in a classics collection. I think IDW have adopted the look for their 'G1' Lockdown. Either way, he was easily one of the highlights of the line. I recommend picking him up.

I just found the picture with Cyclonus right next to him. I think he is too large, he would be the tallest bot in my collection... pity :(
He grew on me over time and I still don't have a Decepticon that turns into a car. And Lockdown seems really bad ass actually. I liked his character in Animated.

But I will think about it... found a seller who still has got some of them for cheap money.

You could alsways pose him in somewhat of a crouch. I don't have mine with me at the moment, but I remember him being pretty well articulated.

Just pretend he's supposed to be taller than everyone else, that's what I do... you really don't wanna miss having this guy. Excellent mold all around, car and bot. But yeah, he's tall... right now Axor is standing beside my GDO Voyager G2 Megatron and he's about a head and a half taller!

I got this guy recently hes really neat. Havent watched Animated so dont really care too much for the character but the toy's awesome. just crappy rubber hook and parts that are all too easy to pop off.

saw this thing at a local comic book store for six bucks... considered it since even thought it was dusty it looked easily cleanable but DAMN, the hand and hook are made out of rubber bands and he's not black... he's dark brown. why is he dark brown?

Yeah, I personally like the dark brown just fine. And imho the rubbery hand and hook are tolerable considering the awesomeness this figure is. He's got flaws (shoulder joints/arm transformation, rubber) but his overall greatness outshines those flaws!

I love this mold, and I flippin' hate all things Bay.

Luckily for me, this is IDW Lockdown all freakin day. One of, if not the, best Bayformer molds.

    Axor is awesome as well.

This toy has nothing to do with Bay.

Your comment is completely random and nonsensical.

To this day, Lockdown remains my favorite Movie Deluxe. He's just so fun to mess with.

    I wish I would've gotten Axor.
