Probably the ONLY TFA figure I'll ever buy because I want it.

thanks for the review, but it pushed me solidly into the "not getting him" group.
I disliked the asymmetry of the first TFA release, but the Blazing version was uniform enough to overlook it. this guy has even more pronounced differences, and is spindlier to boot.
enjoy him, people into that kind of thing

I really really reeeeeaaally don't like anything from the movie line.

But, it seems like I'll be making exceptions for this guy and Bludgeon.

Great review, still don't know. I think in some respects the Animated Lockdown had a more realistic and pleasing looking vehicle mode. I also don't like how the RotF version's chin doesn't look painted like the rest of the face.

Any chance of seeing closeups on the face with comparisons with the TF:A version? Or better yet, some of the other animated figures like Ratchet?

Was your blazing lockdown customized? Mine does not have those nice reddish orange flames.

Darn, this looks much better than I expected! I haven't gotten the Animated version, but I may *just* be tempted to grab this dude. Very nice looking! Will he fit with my Animated characters?

Like someone else in here said before, if I wasn't already sold on this guy, I sure as hell would've been now. I love bounty hunters, and this guy fits the appearance. Sure as hell wasn't kidding about the height, that's amazing, I can't wait to nab him and Brawn, they're my last two DIRE cravings for ROTF so far...though Shadow Command Megatron is close.

I'd love to see some more 'action pose' photos of his robot mode... I never display my figures standing straight up, so posability options are a major selling point for me.

So I've totally got to get this. I've got a couple versions of TFA Lockdown and they're cool. But these pics added some layers of icing on an already perfectly sealed deal cake. I love what they did with it. Honestly, he's blockier and bulkier than most Deluxes and his TFA counterpart, and I like that. I might just have to get two, due to the levels of awesome this is.

Great review, Optimus747. You have made me want this figure. :thumb  I'm still trying to save up for Brawn, so I'll see whether I can nab this guy. :)

I really like how the asymmetrical shoulders look, and his hook is really nasty looking. I also like how the hook is placed in car/alt mode. :)

One question: Are his unique legs reasonably tight? Like, no loose joints?

Looks like a great figure; awesome homage to a sleeper hit series! Hopefully Ratchet turns out as good.

Both Blazing Lockdown and regular Lockdown have the custom Reprolabels stickers...and they're ridiculously better that way. I highly reccomend the Reprolabels Lockdown sticker set!

Legs on mine are fine. The only joint that feels a little loose is the left shoulder, but it holds poses fine.

As for more pics, I'll get some up maybe tomorrow after work; I'll have to try out my new camera. :D

Very nice. TFA Lockdown's one of my top 5 fav figs from that line, so this ROTF version is a must have. Although I have to give it a negative for Hasbro making him out of that ugly brown/black plastic, rather than straight black like the TFA fig. Ah well.
