man im so tempted by that Buster Prime...my wife would kill me

Just got mine and I am very very blown away! Pics tonight!!

 

I've removed the head before from my "just-plain-'ol-and-NOT-a-Buster-Optimus-Prime" Prime and.... it's a piece of cake. Remove screw in back of head. Head splits in 2, down the middle, front to back.

Just want to say the if you press the rear wheel wells in the tab, it will keep the rear tire from coming out when you press on it.

Boy, I am SO glad I did not get the first version of this mold. Why only settle for two swords and no gun when you can get two swords AND the gun AND a chrome job?!

Now I just hope this thing hits stateside. I'm even willing to lose the chrome if need be to sell at Leader-class price, I'm not a big fan of Chrome anyways.

 

If I had the choice, I would keep both, but due to space constraints and $$$ matters, I think its better selling the first ROTF Leader Prime that I got since I already have the better looking Buster Prime. A good investment in a way, I lose some, but I get some back too... 

 

when i got rotf leader prime last june, i was stunned by how beautiful he is. i was thinking 'my God! if he just got the right paint and some chrome, he'd be a Masterpiece!'

some dreams come true almost instantly.

just got my buster prime today and i was stunned again. and yes, he is a Masterpiece!

and for $85, this piece of art is a steal!

Yeah.. I agree.. Thats exactly how I felt when I first got the ROTF Leader Prime.. Then Buster Prime came along...hahhaa.. The rest is history..

Not likely, bar some sort of special "premium" release, and probably at a higher price point unless Hasbro's feeling super generous.

The gun was designed for the normal release, but got cut for budget.

So it's doubtful they'd get it out at Leader price.

 

im sure hasbro will release him as forest battle prime with battle damage, maybe not as detailed but with the mouth definatly

 

? thou does this fig retail for more in japan than the regular prime is that the reason for the higher import price tag?

 

Sweet Baby Jesus...this better come to America, chromed and all (highly doubt it, but Hasbro can pull of a miracle or two when they want).

Only downside is that I'm nervous about head swapping since there are LEDs in the eyes.
