Figured it was time to get back to basics on these guys. Up now: Voyager Mindwipe!

No longer a bat, Mindwipe is now an F-117 Stealth Fighter (well, close enough, at any rate)

On of the things that's really nice about him is that while you can see robot parts from the underside...

...There's practically no kibble to speak of. Just a nice sleek looking jet:

Size wise he's about the same size as Voyager Starscream. I'm not sure what the actual scale between the F-22 and the F-117 is, but they don't look out of place side by side:

Also, on top, there are a couple of peg holes for scout class Sky Stalker to connect to the top of Mindwipe in vehicle mode:

Transformation is fairly simple. The front splits and forms the legs/feet, the middle and cockpit forms the arms/blades, and the head flips up from the underside. There's some neat automorph in the wings as well:

His head is cool, three eyes painted silver behind the clear red visor:

He's much taller than Voyager Starscream. about an inch taller at the head, two if you count the wings.

His arms have the blades attached. The can fold up and store, and drply by pressing a button. They spring forward, but not very far:

One of the neater features is that if you don't care for the chicken legs, you can fold the skinny bits back into the black parts and have him look a little more normal:

Overall, he's pretty cool. He gives off a vaguely bat-like vibe. I can't wait to see how exactly Sky Stalker attaches and if he does anything other than just plug on in jet mode.

You'd have to pretty much cut off his entire hand to make that work.

I LOVE this guy, especially the assassin vibe he gives off.

Holy crap, that's possible the thinnest jet mode I've seen. No kibble at all. HERESY.

What's his articulation like? Does he have a thigh swivel? A bicep swivel? Is the neck ball-jointed? I must know these things, they make the difference between pretty cool and AWESOME.

Looking forward to this guy too. I like how he holds the knives. I suppose if you want them to be swords, you could just not transform the hands (it would be like Prime in the movie, as his hands go away when his swords pop out). Or would it not work, I am not certain from the video but it seems to be the case.

Yeah, you could leave the hands folded up for swords.

With the "normal" legs I really do like him :thumb

As usual, I had to play with the colors some:

That was what i was getting at (and did a poor job of it, lol.) so having blades is still an option.
    Definite buy for me now.

now i am just sad Skystalker isn't a voyager. :(

Once again, the non-appearing-in-the-actual-movie Voyagers are kicking some serious ass!

I'm interested to see what Skystalker will do, though he will probably just peg on top of Mindwipe's jet mode (lame). I at least hope he has some kind of interaction in robot mode, though I'm not getting my hopes up.

There's something eerie and spooky about the robot mode that I can't put my finger on. For that reason I love it. Thanks again, Peaugh.

This guy is wicked. So wicked, in fact, that he's bound to be re-used down the line for a BM Jetstorm repaint/retool.
