Anyone want my extra Takara version. |

The Hasbro SS was inferior in quality to the Japanese version, and I'm wondering if Hasbro has addressed this or not. | Honestly, the main reason that I forgot about this is because I was not reminded about it when messing with the figure. I would probably put the quality somewhere between the Takara Skywarp and Hasbro Starscream. The plastic looks stronger - partly due to the solid dark colour - and I dont feel as nervous when transforming him as I do with Hasbro Starscream. He is a little weaker than the Takara versions, in terms of the feel of the plastic and the build quality in general, in my opinion. The only real worry above the 'average worry of Takara' is the upper body slide. The Takara MP Seeker torsos feel more solid, but the wings feel better than the Hasbro Starscream.

Always looking to pick up another MP Seeker (especially in the UK) for the right cost.

All I have is 6 shelves of ROTF Wheelie and 3 Shelves of Animated Oil Slick. And why doesn't the Hasbro Site sell their entire product line? That would make too much sense.
The last thing anyone wants is to stress Bozo.

Starscream had lots of loose joints, the plastic felt like model plastic thats easy to crack, and the stand was incredibly wobbly.
Skywarp has none of these problems. The black plastic feels MUCH stronger and im not afraid the transform him like i was with Starscream. Also the black is a very nice rich black color, it almost has a metallic sheen to it in the right light, looks very nice. The paint is amazing, very clean and metallic and shiney. I love the gunmetal on the feet and arms.
Overall just a much better figure than the Starscream, but they both look awesome together. |
