The one thing I don't like is the yellow eyes. But that's so minor.
Deffinately picking him up if I can. XBL GT: SPLITTLIP Quote:

But Everything else on Hasbro's I like better than Takara's (the yellow eyes I can overlook). Plus Reprolabels makes a sticker set that should solve all my problems, too. Robot of Miracles: A Story of Second Chances Latest Unseen Stories Update: 11/21/09 "Robot of Miracles: Battlebots" |

whilst the alt mode looks lovely (the dots bothered me slightly, but i'm weird) the finish feels glossier and more lustrous than the hasbro one, and the purple is definitely a much nicer shade on the takara figure, i'm not entirely sold on the very plain plane (sorry) design. the whole package just didn't *quite* do it for me on that OMFG I MUST HAVE THAT NOW level any toy costing that much needs. You could reprolabel it, but at that point you'd pretty be just getting the hasbro one with nicer shade of purple for, what, three times the price all-in?
in the long run i guess the hasbro release won't be worth nearly as much, but if you're both a sucker for nostalgia, and an incorrigible cheapskate like me it's the right choice. plus it was going so cheap, i couldn't really say no this time around. |

The Hasbro version is a very matt black, and nicely seems to absorb the light. Even the cockpit bubble is darker, more of a yellow-grey.

Always looking to pick up another MP Seeker (especially in the UK) for the right cost.
