I agree here... but with a caveat - Hasbro's looks much more G1. Points for that, being a MP. Hasbro's looks fantastic as a cartoon accurate Skywarp, also, whereas Takara's is leaning towards the realistic side.

I personally like Takara's better, but both look like fantastic products, and boy would I love to add either one of em to my collection. I'd prefer Takara, but I'd be happy as... uhh... something very happy... with the Hasbro one, too.

I like it. Very (G1)toy-centric.

How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end

Hi Cybershadow, thanks for the pics as this figure has been on my must have list for awhile now. I do have a quick question though, did you buy this online or at a brick and mortar walmart store? If the latter turns out to be the answer...... The hunt is on
I haven't heard of any sightings, so if you could confirm and also ( sorry about all the questions) provide either the SKU or UPC code so we can check with our local walmarts.
Thanks again.

They've been out in the UK for a little over a week now. Haven't been spotted yet in the US. We should be seeing them in a couple of weeks though.

Yeah, I am in the UK. These guys have appeared in Argos (a B&M catalogue shop over here) for £45.

MP Skywarp Out In UK
My feedback thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/junkio...bershadow.html

Always looking to pick up another MP Seeker (especially in the UK) for the right cost.

Hmmm..both looks good. They have their own appeal. Good job, Hasbro.

From the comparison, I prefer Hasbro's. Has better contrast. I do like Takara's darker purple, but it only adds to how muted the whole thing looks. I don't mind if the brighter one looks cartoony - the toy is of a cartoon character
