I think the only articulation point that actually hurts the figure is lack of wrist rotation, as that's pretty heavily used in sword poses, but that's my only honest complaint in that dept. I definitely plan to paint the eyes with black liner, but I might even try to give him a new face, not sure yet. I hope the official release of this toy has the sword's handle(gun barrel) painted green. . . .

Holy shit this figure looks like EPIC win. Looks like the NEST stuff is going to be awesome, if this Bludgeon figure is any indication.

It's neat how both the offscreen Pursuit of Cobra for G.I. Joe and NEST battles for Transformers feature more exciting designs than both current movie lines(at least in my opinion). I have never had a Bludgeon figure and this is the perfect update in my eyes. Definitely does the character justice, and I think I may end up using it with my Classics figures, definitely looks more Classic than movieverse.

They're pretty much stuck hanging there. You can tuck them up a bit into the shoulders, but then you just have a loop of tread hanging from his shoulder instead of a strip.

Hasbro should use the Vector Prime mold for that one.

    Movie Repaint anyone?

Isn't the most recent repaint of Vector Prime close enough?

"missed it by that much." but this is my thinking.

bludgeon is awesome in every way. there are so many places to keep his swords.

the head is a little funky, but really, it's a far cry from the cabbage-head constructicons.

Thanks for the comparison shots, Peaugh! Looks like he could fit in fairly well with Classics.

Wow, this guy really looks fantastic. I never followed the comics, so as a character, Bludgeon means very little to me, other than what I've read on these boards. I love the Samurai look... really awesome. I agree with Redline, though, having swords as weapons really needs wrist articulation to pull off some awesome poses... I'm sure our Radicons will be on this in no time, though. :)

Can we get a close up shot of his face? Looks kinda oogly, honestly, but I can't tell if that's the camera or not (flash, focus, or something else).

Excelent. Having it just stick out when inserted into the tank side kinda looks really weird.

Plus having secret pop-out weapons just makes the figure just that much more bad-ass!

I soooooooooooooo need this guy. He will fit right in with my Classics cons (who I do need more of).
