Overall not bad, didn't like that it is put together with plastic rods. Screws would have been nice, although with Resin plastic I know it can break / crack easy. Definately took some time to put it together. Sanding and cutting the excess took some time. The swords and scabbards are worth the price alone. The head has some problems folding up and the cover tends to fall off during transforming. The stickers were terrible. I could not get any of them except the eyes to stay on. I decided to just paint it. I still need to do some light sanding, I noticed a spot on the shoulder after taking the pics. Transforming is kinda tricky but if you take your time and be careful you'll be ok. Some may have had better luck than I but basically I plan on keeping it in robot mode. Not just because it looks awesome but because I sweat every time I transform it. It's very tight and I'm still afraid it will break. I might do some more painting on it. The comic was nice but he never transformed in it? I would have loved to see the vehicle mode so I know exactly where to put some of the stickers on the sides. The instructions were kinda hard to read also. Definately not for someone who has not put together models. Anyway here are the pics. WANTED BADLY

I did what the instructions stated as far as paint apps. I am going to do more painting and detailing but wanted people to see what they would be getting. WANTED BADLY

I've already been pampered by TF Club, FansProject, BTS Toy, Justitoys, etc on what third party companies can really achieve, especially for that amount of money. For example, this "Drift" costs the same as a City Commander armor. Really? Where's the quality of the set? He won't even fit correctly in bot or alt mode, and he's a floppy mess if you try to pose him (just check out the SGCollect forums for posts about how to fix him).
Just complete fail. |
