Is this out yet?

 

Holy crap, Stockade is one of my favorite movie molds, and I never noticed that his finger articulation was split like that. I guess the dark color hid the obvious gap between them. While I'm not rushing out to get Gears, he has retroactively made a cool toy cooler.

 

Can't say I'm a fan, the colours just don't seem to work. Pass.

I'll get it only because I want movie version of the autobot team. That means getting Brawn too.

 

Thank you for the great review. I love the character Gears, one of the fateful first six my brother and I got back on 12-25-1984 the Genesis of my lifelong mania.

Some how I had no idea this was coming.Good as bought and going to my classics shelf.

 

I think he looks pretty good. Not a huge fan of all that blue in robot mode though. Has anyone else thought that his chest has a vague resemblance to the predator face?

 

I get a wheeljack vibe outta this guy. I love the Escalade mode's paint apps.

 

Dinobots legs anyone?

I like the first mold of this one as a Decepticon. I am getting tired of all the repaints going on. Don't know if I will even try to get this one.

 

Looks pretty cool. I'll probably cave and buy this guy. I can't resist this mold

pass. this mold fits gears VERY poorly.

 

The vehicle colour is quite nice. The silver makes it look sleek and the gears design on the front looks great.  

BUT! His robot mode is so miscoloured compared to his vehicle mode >_<. So it's a pass..

 

Not bad for a G1 homage but WHY wasn't the vehicle mode painted in G1 colours too? Hazblo does it again!

 

Hmmm....might spring for it as Stockade is such a good mold...

 

Normally, I hate the G1 homages/repaints with the movie toys, but this one for some reason I love... I actually like how much his colors change from vehicle to bot. Makes it look like an actual disguise then when he transforms he's filled with life because of all the crazy unexpected colors. At least he'll be easy to find since he doesn't seem too popular.

 

Nah, not for me. Stockade works fine but the colours on this look kinda mish-mashy. And when I look at this mold I don't see Gears. I see Wheeljack or Brawn or RID X-Brawn.

Thank goodness he isn't a Headmaster or member of the Brest Force.

 

IF I get him, he is definitely going to be changed up a bit!

 

I'm getting Gears in the mail soon, I hope he lives up to the hype since I did not touch any of the first movie toys..
