Corvette Stingray mode:   
straight up Red car like i'm used to. the design 's quite cool but the red is just too bright a shade to be realistic.
Robot Mode:    
I HATE YOUR FEET!!!  took me a while to pose him in standing positions... the easiest was the third pic. there is little sense of balance in this thing whatsoever.
Head Close Up: 
Retread from s70 pointed this out before. his face looks so evangelion-like. especially the chin. i dunno if this is a trend, i mean Sideswipe looked a bit Gundam-Like.
overall: i like how red he is... but perhaps it's a bit too red. he needs some metallic or black accents. preferably in the torso section and shoulders.
the wheel feet again is a pet peeve for me. so damn hard to make him stand.
the head to me is quite good. but maybe better somewhere else. i noticed that some figures in this line have headsculpts that fit them little or don't fit them at all. i don't have sideswipe so no comparison pics.

That is Sideswipe in G1 colors. I normally don't like the movieverse figures in the G1 paint scheme but in this case, I absolutely must have it for my Sideswipe collection. Hell, reverse the red and black on this one and have it be Sideswipe in G2 colors and I will buy another. | |
