The BT kos have always been the best ko TFs I've came across. They're certainly not without their own set of problems, but I've bought things like a later run
G1 Superion ko only to literally have Silverbolt's head crumble in my hands. I went so far as to contact the company who made it, told them of the horrible quality, and got a Walmart gift card in return.
All that being said, I still feel in a certain way that these BT kos are made more for the Alt/BT kitbashing crowd simply because of the problems some of them have can be easily fixed if one knows what they're doing with kitbashing skills. For example, the neck joint on my black Hummer was so loose that the head wouldn't stand on its own well. Not everyone has a center hole punch and is even comfortable using one on toys. I was going to remove the pin, put Future on the joint, and reassemble. Turns out that simply using the hole punch fixed my problem.

It was a happy accident, but I was prepared to go the full way with it.
I've already discussed the tailgate breakage on mine, and I'm preparing to fully fix it more later. The thing is that today's toys are designed where breaking them are much harder than the
G1 days. Still, there are things on toys like these that repairs aren't easy. I really don't recommend them to people wanting a figure straight out of the box with no problems (like a deluxe or voyager from Cybertron or something). If someone is familiar with kos, and they're cool with those things, these BT kos are where it's at. I really feel they're the cream of the crop of kos.
