Cool! ill try later today, thanks for the info!

It took me about 10 minutes or so total to fix both. I hope you fair as well as I did.

*still grumbles about the tailgates*

Hey, I just got mine in the mail the other day and I found a couple quick and easy ways to make his feet look a bit better. If you take the screw out that holds the spare tire in place, you can make it into a removable accessory (as the hole and peg are plenty tight enough to hold it in place in vehicle mode. I then (very carefully as the gun's plastic is pretty soft) put a similar sized hole in the bottom of the gun to plug the spare tire into in order to make it part of the weapon. The main benefit of doing this is that the foot kibble can be folded up much neater now.

I also transform the feet differently using the tailgate/roof panels to form the front part of the new feet and the old feet angled back as the heels. The rear doors can be folded around the front of the lower legs to cover up any small gaps this creates in the lower leg. I think this looks pretty good and further differentiates him from the jeep mold, plus he's much more stable this way for me, as it takes the weight off of a couple of the looser joints.

I think I'd be a little concerned with the tailgate pieces supporting any amount of weight because they're so fragile and thin.

Mine actually seem pretty sturdy. Like any KO, I know that they're all different and mileage on any particular part will vary, but I don't foresee any problems with mine.

I guess it's not very nice to go pointing that out to someone who's broke right out of the package, though. Sorry about that superSquad (I know it's not correct, but by golly that's what I'm calling you).

Still, though, if you don't do the foot transformation, I'd recommend making the tire removable as you'll get a lot better kibble transformation.

Hah, I like the Drum mag on that gun. Looks cool. The different foot transformation helps differentiate him from the Jeep mold that much more, as well.

The sturdiness of the tailgate isn't what I'd be concerned with, but the thickness of that tailgate folded up to form that foot would. That plastic is pretty thin, and I wouldn't want to put any more added pressure on it, as that's one of the weak points of the toy. I do think your transformation is pretty clever (and I did forget to mention that), but a lot of weight is being supported there. I think you might be fine; I'm just saying that I don't think I'd want to take that chance.

Also, I think you missed that both Napjr and myself had the tailgate problem, not just me. You're right though: kos can be very different from piece to piece. Oddly enough, I received one each packaged in robot mode and one in truck mode. It seems that (for some reason) the black one doesn't have as bad of a problem as the red one, but it's hard to say if that's because it was the one in robot mode or if it's just random chance, per se.

As far as the tire cover goes, I'm removing mine completely, as it's a Jeep Wrangler tire cover and is out of place on the Hummer H3, imo. That will be one of many things I'll be working on with mine to problem-solve, though. I bought mine to make customs of them anyways.

BTW, it's Superquad, not SuperSquad. If you call me "SuperSquad", it seems like you can't read

But its not a Jeep tire cover! It clearly says "4 X 4." Granted, there are some wrinkles molded into the leather that, to the layman, might have a passing resemblence to the word Jeep, but its only a coincidence.

No, keep in mind the body shell of the Hummer was placed on top of the Jeep mold. The tire cover on all of the Jeep kos says "4 X 4" to avoid the copyright things with Jeep. The molding is there because the original mold was made for the Jeep.

Even with that aside, the tire cover is too small for a Hummer spare tire. Again, I did forget (once again) to comment on how cool I think your work is there (using the tire cover for the gun was quite a stroke of brillance, imo). I am still placing mine totally aside, though.
