ROTF Deluxe Jolt pictorial review

Finally had the time to snap a few shots of the little seen Autobot member, Jolt!

Here's one with the flash to show more of the detail:

Jolt's vehicle mode is the Chevy Volt, apparently a last minute addition to the cast of the film.

And just in case you might forget:

He's a fairly average sized deluxe vehicle:

Transformation is average, there are a lot of big panels that make up his car form, but despite that transformation is fairly interesting and mildly involved. It's no Leader Jetfire or Leader Prime, but it's not FAB level either. Robot mode is pretty nifty.

That's the official transformation, but I agree that flipping those back panels up make him look a bit more interesting. He's also got those flip out whips as well:

The whip mechanism is kind of neat, just spin the gear on his forearm:

You can also see his claws in that pic, he's got one upper claw and two smaller ones on the lower half of his hand.

Here's a quick of his back, where the hood and front panels of the car end up:

Also, despite the panels, he's actually QUITE poseable, even his toe flaps are on ball joints.

And a quick size comparison to some other figures, in this case deluxe Bumblebee and Arcee from the first movie:

Overall, he's a decent figure. He's not the best in the line, but he's better than others, and I think he got a good toy representation for only being in the movie for about 3 seconds.

I've been debating between the Fab version and this one, guess it's the deluxe.

Awesome fig.

Can you pose the feet panels to be vertical like in the movie?

I love the alt mode but the robot mode looks rushed and kinda boring. If its bot mode was more lanky or slender like concept bb i think id like it more. It will have to be a pass unfortunately.
