i just got this upgrade kit today, and decided to share some pics.. if there's already a thread for this, please merge!

trailer mode.. very nice, although i did forget the cannons that can go on the side (didnt know they existed  ) and the chrome is quite nice too, goes with henkei convoy's grill






and in bot mode.. awesome!

all in all, i love this upgrade kit.. all 3 of them.. the paint apps on this is very nice, the shoulder cannons make it look even better, and different to the other two (kinda like SC's awesome sword).. the quality of the product is as good as ever (they've improved the joint on the chest piece, which was really flimsy on my CC and SC sets).. hope u enjoyed the pics.. cheers

 

Did it come with Extra things ?

 

I haven't asked, but is the NECK joint stronger on this/shadow commander than on city commander? I had my city commander's head snap off.

 

A head with mouth plate would be nice...

 

I like! Looks very nice!

Now I wish I had:
A. Some form of the classic Prime Mold.
B. The greens to spend on the upgrade set and classic Prime...

...I did not start collecting again until the first movie..... ah well...

Though I kinda like the Shadow Commander better... maybe I am just dark...

IMO the red shins make this the far cooler looking toy

as for this VS the TFCon I cant help but think this is more like the premium item

 

Can't really blame FansProject for the majors changes after the big hate thread. They did it to please like 10 loud mouth fans who will never buy their products.   Though, the changes are a nice improvement.

 

So I feel like asking a silly question...what, if anything, does DIA standfor? Everytime I see it my brain pulls a trick and I see "DIY" or Do It Yourself. I also drink too much.

im starting to get a bad feeling the free gift is the launchers and the case and the stickers are the bonus item....i hope im wrong though but still this is a nice buy, does any one know if it will still look pretty good on normal classics prime? i dont have henki prime

 

Thanks for the pics. It looks awesome. I just hope there are some left when I come up with the spare cash. Too many Transformers to buy right now. Thanks for the shot of the Protector upgrade. Just picked up an extra Rodimus and this thing will be ordered the first hour it is up.

 

Who is the 2nd robot in the City Protector photo? Springer or Blur and from which toyline?

The missile launchers are on the wrong shoulders. Look at the art, the shorter one goes on top, that way his elbows can bend more, the way you have it, his elbows can not bend.

He looks pretty good, I may have to get him in addition to my TFcon one, dunno though.
