I love the toy, and would accept him as my Classics Nightbeat - but the head simply kills it for me. It's so... bird-like and there are those teeth collars. I guess it's a nod to the Real Gear Nightbeat who had a silver head and was a bird, but it's just not very good.
Maybe I'll try to mod him a new head from some KO toy... My sales/trades (lots European exclusives!) |

That said, Night Beat is still tops in my book. I for one, like the avian head and feral jaws. Turquoise Version Forbidden Platypus Lingo |

The lack of a dark stripe on the robot mode head takes away a lot of the deviousness which is good. The Nightbeat tag was a neat touch. This is my favorite scout! |

Guess I will get this guy after all.
Thanks to SmokescreenGT for the sig!

Saw this guy today and I prefer the red and black version I already have. Maybe if it had a new head I might've bitten if I had cash buring a hole in my pocket, but then again probably not. Autobloke in everything but name. |

The first thing I did was remove the yellow flames as I hated them. Absolutely hated them. The next thing I did was work on some detailing in his robot mode as it was a bit bland. I should have some photos soon enough (if all goes well) showing how different he looks now. I dry brushed on some silver and gold details on him to make him look more worn.
As for the toy itself (other then the flames) I wish he had some lateral head articulation. That's it. He is a very solid figure and fits in well with my Autobot-only themed collection (with a few RARE exceptions). I like his overall car mode as it could fit in with the other 1:32ish ROTF vehicles as the Lotus Tesla is similar to it and it is a SMALL car ( Tesla Roadster - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). I would definitely recommend this new scout, but after Ejector. I mean, who can beat a transforming toaster in overall coolness? Until there is a transforming Chuck Norris figure NOTHING can.

My Dead End has pretty loose joints there but the plastic is weird and I wasn't sure what nail polish might do to it. Quote:
