Wow, like blackout501st said. But to me, I dont care what critics say. And i dont care about what this "reviewer" says too, dont buy it Just like that. God, nothings being reccomended cause it has to do with micheal bay.   Im just tired of critics bashing good movies cause "their childhood got raped by   Oh and i will buy the game. I dont depend on others' opinions to make my choice.

 

Whats funny is that are compairing this to games that really werent all that good excluding Armored Core not yet released. The Increadible Hulk (6.0 IGN) out of 10, Dynasty Warriors Gundam (5.6 IGN) out of 10, Armored Core (Not Released). I will have to see it actualley played befor purchase. The last game really sucked bad. But then again 98% of all movie games do.

 

Any word on region locking for the XBOX?

 

Dudes, he wasn't telling you not to buy it, it was just a (poorly) titled pros/cons section.

 

The games have leaked all over the internet sadly. All but the DS two (yet and hopefully will have the newer anti-pirate code to deny slot devices) thankfully. Remember to pick it up for while waiting in line at the theater... Not to mention, most theaters have wifi now too. =D Annnnd while at it grab the new ROTF transforming DS protective cases. They even have transforming spot that hides away (intentionally even!) two ds games. Bumblebee yellow, Megatron Silver.

So while you may see user reviews, it may not entail the full oomph of the game. Some may be biased, and other more published reviewers are genre biased.

But again, while this game may be a fun romp, the scores it gets may not reflect that as they are attempting to review for the next Halo killer or Mario Kart topper. It is indeed fun (Consoles and DS, sorry psp), and will offer many hours of replay time and unlockables not to mention online fun.

Well just don't break too much stuff by accident in autobots. While it's not fable, it will hinder your leveling. Decepticons on the other hand? DESTROY EVERYTHING!!! Well cept a few things lol.

And what this means for future games?
Well so long as they keep using the same companies for the games, they'll progressively get better and better. The DS for example has further expanded on it's own mechanics and size by incorporating new and old code. If they can do the same with the console versions, each one will progressively open the possibilities, map locations, and other libraries needed for one massive game with everything we've ever wanted. While this may be a step in the right direction, we won't see perfection from scales to interactivity or even interiors till more games and movies. Or possibly other game titles scheduled for later   .

The movie itself? Ignore those reviews, it will blow your socks off. In my experience they don't see details, just the surface of the movie as a mindless CG fest. These are the same people who can't even see the overbearing anti-war message in the Casshern live action movie. How do you expect them to look past a 'silly toy movie sequel' and take it serious or think of it as 'what if they really were in our world? what could happen? Or has happened from it?'

Can you play as megatron? Tank or jet mode?

 

He's playable in 360/PS3 multiplayer definitely, and you get to select to play with a tank or jet alt mode, but not both at the same time.

 

what about sideswipe??? is he a playable character at least in multiplayer?? and speaking of multiplayer> how many characters is there to choose from, cuz i heard that the number of playable characters in mp is much higher than in the sp.

I think this is a good review. I appreciate honesty. Like, I love Transformers, but even I have to admit the first game was not worth buying at full price, especially if you kind of need to save your money. There's alot better games on the market to spend your hard earned 60 dollars on. This game looks like a solid rental, especially if its less than 6 hrs long, and most of the missions consist of "Bumblebee, drive over here. Shoot that guy along the way. Mission complete."

 

come on you beat it you have to know who the basic unlockable characters are. well what are they? please please please

Yep it sucks. I thought it would because:

A. It is a movie game.

B. The first Transformer game was awful. I was bored after 10 minutes of playing it.

I am not going to buy it but maybe a rental down the road. Probably not.

 

I read the review but what I got from it was that you thought it was both pretty good and not that good.

Most of the stuff you listed was pretty positive with a few nitpicks but in the end you basically said "Meh, s'okay." Kinda confusing.

 

i have the hand boook on it ..i think its gay for the ps3 and the x-box36 to have better grafucs abd a better story mode . in the book the ps2,wii looks teribul and the sstory is all mixed up   im goin to get it for ps3 

 

Dang. Sounds pretty good to me. Unfortunately, I have the Wii. Everyone is saying how it is terrible. Hey, If you find the Wii game soon, by any chance, please review it. Despite how everyone thought the first game was bad, I still just run around in the mission settings shooting things and killing drones, replaying favorite levels and whatnot, and I'm entertained actually!

So i think if you give it an average review, I might just think it's even better. But I will have quite a few questions about the game.

 

I'm debating...do I buy it for ps3? or my 360? I have both systems, and I originally planned to buy it for my 360, however...my ps3 is rocking a game deficiency. At the moment I only have fighting games (i.e MKvsDC and Street Fighter) for my ps3.

However, the reason my ps3 has such a game deficiency at the moment, is because I like all my racing games and shooting games better on an x-box controller. For instance I traded my ps3 version of GTAIV for the x-box version, and I have been much happier ever sense.

So what do you guys think?

 

The DS version was really awesome last time around. I had a blast with it.
