Maybe your unit had a problem on the neck joint? I've seen others posed like that before.

The way the hinge works.... there's just nowhere else for it to GO. Maybe there's a joint somewhere in there that isn't obvious.

Well just keep fiddling until you get it, but be careful, we don't want no broken toys right?

The head will slide a little bit up and down. That's probably your problem with him.

Great figure. Much cooler then I was expecting. My only gripe is that he can't turn his head!

Well his waist articulation is great so I don't think the head is a problem.

True that. I was pleasantly surprised at that. Shame though about no head movement, because otherwise he's got some top notch articulation.

You mean like this?

It's not that hard to have the head stay up and away when the energy "crest" is folded in. The friction from the spring loaded energy pieces holds the head in place quite nicely. You're not gonna be able to do that with the panels out.

Also, I don't know if you noticed, but when the panels are folded in you can slide the head up a tad more and it'll click into place. I think that's what the "push head down and panels come out" gimmick is all about.

Since you didn't touch on the alt mode, it's alright, but it seems like it was merely an afterthought.

Once you tweak it a bit and figure out which limbs peg onto which slots (the instructions of course tell you jack shit about this), it doesn't look half bad, and it actually feels pretty solid. I saw a Youtube review of this guy and the dude said he prefers to TF the altmode this way, and frankly, it does look a bit better to me.

Overall, this is a fantastic figure and one that everyone should get if only for the robot mode. It's awesomely tall for a Voyager, and has a menacing badass look about it that's just plain evil.
If you've dealt with me, please leave feedback here. Thanks!

It's mighty odd that the arms are hinged to the body, but that's the way it's supposed to be. Face it: this won't be one TF you transform back and forth. Cybertronian alt. modes really leave a lot to be desired.
