After a few requests i decided to put up a gallery and comparisons of these two new Power Ranger transformers/Zords.

    First up is Prius/Panther(Ravage)

    Alt mode

    Alt mode is solid enough.

Standard plastic wheels/tires and solid windows with basic if any paint apps.
Car rolls great and holds together with no looseness.
Compared to a Alt Dead End the car is only about 1 inch smaller in length and almost the same width.

    Bot Mode

    Compared to alt Chinese prowl

Bot mode is weak but stands on all fours and there is plenty of room for customizing.

Front Legs have minimal articulation with no joints.

Back legs have some movement in the knees and toes.

Shoulder guns can fold up or extend out.

    Head has no movement.

Shot with Universe and g1 ravage

    Camry/Eagle(laserbeak)

Alt mode is decent sized and looks good.(slightly smaller than dead end)Same as the Prius as far as quality.

Compared to g1 Laserbeak and Buzzsaw

Bot mode is decent but not too good.Articulation is minimal on the wings and head(back and forth and no up and down on the wings)

Wing have a big span when fully extended(over 12")

Legs have decent movement as is without knees(the ankles and groin have a lot of potential)

Overall don't get them as is but if your up for some modding these two could be a great replacement for Ravage and a real Laserbeak.

Alt fans who customize may want to pick them up when they go on sale.

I purchased these two for the sole purpose of turning them into a proper Ravage and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw.

I might actually get the Ravage impersonator. I'll put on a reprolabels decepticon sticker if I do.

Thanks for this review, man :thumb  I've seen these in person, but they look incredibly cheap to me. I've never seen them on sale, even though I've been a bit tempted to buy them at regular price. My second statement has been my deterrent, though. Also, perhaps I'm just spoiled, but I like to have interiors to my 1:24 transformables too. I prefer the translucent windows (even if the robot parts are showing) as well. Painted plastic windows just looks cheap to me. Even a heavy tint on translucent plastic would be better.

Still, I'd be inclined to pick these up if I ever saw them for a good price :)

They look like knockoffs compared to Transformers, but nice review and pics.

I've been waiting for a review of these guys. Big thanks.

I'd buy Laserbeak in a second if I saw him. My Target never has them on the shelf. Are these toys out of production or from the current Power Rangers line?

Thanks for the review Tamo :thumb

I hunted down a Camry/"Engine King Eagle" at my local TRU. It was one of the last Camry's on the shelf (the had two of the Prius's but I didn't want that one)

I was also informed by the worker at one of the TRU's I hit that these were being canceled and would not be restocked (don't take this as factual, remember, a worker told me this)

But if you do see one, and you want it, better grab it while you can.

The Engine King Eagle is actually pretty cool. I am pleased :)

I agree with oyu 100% The eagle makes a nice little friend for the Ravage.

Also even though most TF people will think they are cheap you must remember that the Power Ranger line is still based for kids. They have recently been releasing more adult collectable toys but the sole market for PR stuff is kids. What might look like an unappealing piece to you may be what makes a kid say WOW THATS AWESOME! (I've actually witnessed this happen with PR stuff in Wal MArt and Target)

Pause. I've been out of Power Rangers for about a year but their Zords are actual (albeit Japanese) cars!? When did Toyota start making Megazords?

Although not the best looking figure around, I'd buy that bird as a stand in for Alt. Laserbeak.
