I searched every way I know, and I couldn't find a photo review. So I decided to try my hand at it. Demolishor is a Constructicon that forms Devastator. I thought he would be alot bigger, I guess I overestimated his size from Peaugh's video. He is still a decent size though.

His alt mode is pretty cool. I live in Western Pa and we have alot of strip mines and such so I'm a steam shovel fan. His alt mode looks pretty lifelike. I don't know if he is supposed to represent a particular model, but he is cool none the less. The Shovel works, and there are gears that spin inside it, which is a cool feature. The treads don't turn but that is kind of a bummer, but other than that he is pretty solid.

And here he is compared to Walmart movie exclusive Grindcore.

His transformation is too "stressful" for me to explain. But after a couple times, I'll probably become a pro.

His robot mode is different to say the least. The Shovel splits apart to become his arms. and his treads become wheels. His wheels turn, just not as freely as a hot wheels car. But that's actually cool because then you can display him in robot mode without him wanting to roll. His head looks huge relative to his body and I like it.

And here he is compared to Soundwave.

All in all, I give him a 8 out of 10. Although there really isn't anything they can do better, as his is really cool. I am just not entirely a fan of his robot mode, although I do like it. It's just different.

Nice, thank you for finally giving us a pictorial review! He definitely is unique, and I'll be picking him up.

If Demolisher had better arm articulation he would be perfect.

I think the original review was just titled "excavator" or something. Took me awhile to find the review.

Regardless thanks for the review. The wheels don't move in robot mode? Really? That's disappointing!

Agreed. It just doesn't seem like they even bothered to try to give him much articulation. Without much effort in the engineering department they could have given him wrist articulation, better elbow movement and the ability to actually swing his arms forward and back. Too much got sacrificed in his play-ability to accomidate his mech-alive gimmick, which, IMO, is kinda stupid. I like that they were thinking outside the box for his bot mode, but once you get him there all you can do is wheel him around. You can't actually play with him. At a $30 Canadian price ticket, he just doesn't make the grade when compared to Starscream, Fallen, Megs and the others.

he's not a bad toy....I think what appeals to me about him is the design and it's how it's unique to the regular humanoid looking bots. He can be tricky to stand, but he can hold some decent poses. I have my posed with the keychain optimus prime figure to recreate the first trailer sequence......I'd recommend him to anyone. Don't make him your first priority, but include him if you can

You have to use his arms as "feet". And then the wheel helps him remain ballanced. Kinda like a three point stance.

    Devastator

Will the individual bots be able to connect to form Devastator or do you have to buy the box set version? I haven't ssen many people talk about a connection mode...

Got this guy today. As boring as I was expecting. I really wish they lost the stupid gears and gave us better arms

No, the individual bots can't connect to form Devastator. Only the box set, with vehicles that connect to each other, but don't have their own individual bot modes.

I love this toy! I know he's been getting alot of grief, but for me, I'm very pleased. His alt mode is so cool, even without movable treads, and his bot mode , for me, is just fun to mess with. I do agree with whats being said about his arms, more poseability would be great, but I'm happy with what I got.

You guys want a $5 dollar "custom mod" that you could add to your Demolishor robot in order to make it more exciting? Buy yourself a Legends Prime and pose him like I will be with Demolishor. Bring back memories of the trailer money shot? By adding Legends Prime to this mold, it makes it that much more fun!
