I have had this for a while now. It is kinda old. I got it last November. But has been around for at least a couple years I think. my friend and I got all three versions: Fortmax red, Grand Max gray, and Brave max blue. I obviously took the Fortmax red version for myself and he kept the Gray and blue swords. The kit is injection molded plastic. It even comes with the SuperFireconvoy handle. Fantastic piece for those who have a Fortmax. the handle is still a little flimsy. Only good for holding the sword vertically. if left in a horizontal position, you may have issues of the sword bending the handle. If you look at the box pictures there is a "secret" version. I have never seen pictures of this but I am guessing it is a luckydraw chromed version. Here is the sword with Fortmax. Before any of you begin to think of PMing me for one or where to buy it. STOP. We got it off of ebay from a guy in taiwan. That is all I know. He doesnt have anymore that i know of so please do not ask me in desperation to get one. I cant help you. Sorry.
Where did you get i... only kidding. Seems like an impressive weapon for an impresive figure. Shame about the lack of anyone to use it on besides other maximi though.
Very true. 20th anniversary is great. However this is the DVD version. Isnt the 20th the hasbro version of MP convoy with the "battle damage"? This is the one with the sound talking display base. I like it cause I got two of them on clearance for $25 each. money well spent.
Ohh, i didn't even know there were multiple "masterpieces". When i asked, i was talking about MP Convoy. So this is a diff one. Very nice. Not to hijack this thread, but if someone can pm me with the diff between MP convoy and this one here, that would be much appreciated. Just a high level understanding would be great.
ugh i found myself droolin over the cerebros more than the sword anyways i hope to get one of these one day for my fort max....along with a cerebros lol
I think the battle damage prime came out during energon, before this one. The weird thing is, my prime never came with a dvd.
No. It didnt come with a DVD. I have just always heard it referred to as "DVD prime" cause it came out around the same time as the DVD.
The 'DVD' Prime has a more orangey-red colour and no chrome. It also lacks the battle damage from the 20th Anniversary Prime.
"lacking battle damage" is the one redeeming factor of DVD prime. I like to pretend that DVD prime is the "anime" color version. Kinda like the anime version of WST Prime trailer has that white stripe. Well DVD prime has a white stripe instead of silver on his torso.
