I searched for feedback on these toys but found nothing, apologies if there is already a thread.

Here are some photos of the new Encore 15 Big Mission set from Japan.

These cassettes are really nice, with die cast parts that are the same as the originals. They look and feel as good as the cassettes I picked up back in the 80s and seem to be made to a better standard than the Kiss Play cassettes from a few years ago.



































They fit inside of my old 80s Soundwave perfectly  

 

The cassettes are getting some serious love this year.

 

Man, I SOwant those even though I have 3 out of the 4 already. If the price dipped down to around $30 USD I would snag a set, but I won't hold my breath.

 

haha yeah.. i had ravage and laserbeak too, but i still got it..

 

I am SOOOO glad this set came with Buzzsaw instead of Laserbeak. It made this set 100% worth buying IMO. The only cassette I have ever owned is Laserbeak, so I am very happy they went with Buzzsaw. I can't wait for the next set of Cassettes. Hopefully they release a 3rd set, that include Rumble and Frenzy and I don't care what other 2 they decide to throw in.

I need to buy a Blaster now though >_<
My Decepticon Cassettes have a leader, my 2 little Auto-cassettes are all alone!

 

Yea i held off on buying that set due to money at the time but i think this will be a botcon purchase for me.

Wait a second..this set comes with Buzzsaw instead of Lazerbeak. I may have to re-evaluate getting this set then.
