Hello all. This is my first review. I just got this guy in the mail this morning (as of 4/14/09). He is an impressive figure, but expensice (75$ shipped from bbts.) Well here we go
as you can see the box is in black and white. I think its just the SS box w/ Black and white inserts. Here's a closeup: The back of the box IS colored and features Henkei Starscream: The Front of the F-15C is nice. Black nose cone w/ a Decepticon Symbol. Silver Intakes, and you can see 'Con symbols on the top of the Wings. For some reason they look perfectly white on my cam screen, but then they become uneven =( if anyone knows how to fix, please help...
I have ordered the Takara Encore Skywarp and Thundercracker. Is it just as good as the Henkei version?
I don't have that BUT i have seen photo's i would say this might be better (althoughThundercracker is super loose, i have heard) It has more articulation and play value... They most likely are just as good. You should check them out
hi all, is there any quality control issue as regards to the Henkei skywarp and thundercracker such as missing paint and misassembly issues? TF wiki mentioned those, so i just wanna confirm. and whats a reasonable price for MISB for both?
Definitely. If you buy Henkei Skywarp or Thundercracker, you have to be prepared for at least one QC issue, or more likely several issues. You'd be very lucky if you got one that didn't have something wrong with it, however minor. So be warned.
