it has a more 'G1' type shooting sound. So instead of BOOM you get Peauwwww, peauwww, and instead of saying "i am Megatron!!!" he says "There is No Command but MINE!"

Sorry to necro this - but is it likely we'll ever see a better leader-scale Movie Megs than this one, or will this probably be the definitive Megatron for the movies in this size? I'm tempted to get one, and he's *just* about obtainable at retail price now. I'm worried if I delayed the decision longer I'd end up paying collectors price...

Or just buy him first, and sell him off at collectors price if a better Megs with two normal arms and a flying alt mode comes along?

Well, there will not be a better version for ROTF Megs at this size. Since it looks like Megs is getting a very different alt. mode in TF3, it is pretty obvious the toy will not be like the ROTF mold. I'd grab him for the heck of it, but not for full retail price.

Thanks for the advice! I really doubt I'd be able to find it at a discount now, though - it's disappeared from all the regular retail stores, and only the specialist toyshops still have him, at a slight premium too. Maybe I'll try eBay.

And off topic, but have you ever saw any TFTM Megatron Leader Class around the hobby shops in KL? Premium or otherwise, I'm looking for that mold (don't ask why tho

I've not seen him in any shops, but he's available on eBay Malaysia for around RM220-RM240. There's even a loose version for RM160 or so, and I've bought from that chap before. The loose Leader Brawl I got from him was in great condition, everything intact, clean and working. You might want to consider picking the loose one up from him.

Does anyone know if the "Ravage on his left hand" mode can be done without any modding (like, is there a peg to fit it in) or does it require some screwdriver work? Which Ravage would match his colour the most - Sea Attack Ravage?

I've seen it done on customs long long ago, but is there a way to get the sides of Megatron's head to flare out like in the movie?

Did that make sense or should I post a picture :x
