Has anyone tried to remove the wing stripes on Dirge yet? They don't bother me as much as I thought they would, but I would still like to see what the alternative looks like.
Got mine in no QC issues and the stripes on them don't bug me as much as they did in the initial pictures.
Henkei Dirge is what we wished Botcon Dirge could have been. I'll probably let him borrow botcon Dirge's missiles and launches though, so he doesn't have to have the goofy chrome. Didn't get Thrust, I like the look of the Botcon one better.
Mine arrive today. I considered only getting Dirge, but caved on Thrust and I'm glad I did because I like him better. Very sharp looking. Both are appropriately tight as far as joints and as far as their launchers connecting. My seekers are complete, pending some new missiles from Darkov.
i have neither the botcon nor henkei versions...why is there a seeming widespread preference to swap missiles? for which character?
Other people are bothered by the fact Thrust is the only one with the 'null rays' like Starscream, TC, and SW, yet Dirge was given the normal missiles rather than the Ramjet ones. I'm referring to the repro missiles that Darkov makes which look more like the null rays. He makes 'bomb' ones too, but I'm not as interested in those.
Just got em both. I just only open Thrust because he is my favorite seeker of all. LOVE HIM! OMG TAKARA IS GREAT!! Such a fun toy. Way better than Henkei Thundercracker with the peg holes. Just a fun toy. Ima open Dirge later.
UPDATE: Yea Dirge is great. I recommend anyone who wants to say he/she has classic toys, they need this set. asap. spend the cash and treat yourself to some great toys.
