Wheeljaxx' Classics Liokaiser Pictorial review

So I finally got my Liokaiser. It took some time to get it after I paid for it. (two months, due to Wheeljaxx's family emergency taking priority)

At first glance I was a little dissapointed with the quality of craftsmanship. Things like paint chips and the paper inkjet decals sort of makes this feel like an amateur custom. The recasted parts have hundreds of air pores/holes.

I suppose im a little spoiled with high quality customs that dont have these problems.

Like this, my friend customed a macross 1/48 valk into this for me.

However regardless of Liokaiser's shortcomings, it is still a fantastic piece.

Guyhawk

Hellbat

Drillhorn (this one suffers the most due to the heavy modification)

Killbison

Jaruga

Leozack

Liokaiser combined

mind if we add those to his gallery with credit? If you look in it, there's not all that many photos, and none from behind the combiner like that.
Radicons aren't limited to just Transformers. . . .

Hold on, you've reviewed a fan-made custom figure?

What's the point? Unless it's not the only one out there?

Still, it looks neat.
I need a g1 Swoop neck.
Pm me if you have one to sell. Please.

It's not the only one out there. Wheeljaxx made several of them. I wish I would have had the money for it when he was selling them.

Shame about the back of the treads on Drillhorn.
Fight Retard Robot Life updated 04th July sort of on hiatus until I pick it up properly, which might be a while.

Sure thing. Just give credit where its due. I knew that there werent any good pcitures of Liokaiser anywhere. Cause I havent seen them nor found them. So I took good pictures for you guys. And cause i like taking pictures of TFs.

Yep, cause im sure there are a few people interested in what it looks like. Many of the pictures, in fact all of them, are not as detailed and close up. Also as Redline mentioned, dont show the back. I have seen pictures of the back of LK before, but none of them are as clear and detailed as my pics.

are you talking about the missing tread? yeah that was my fault. I already replaced the drill with the real thing. It is from a Brave toy called Build tiger. I had a KO lying around and I harvested the drill. So now it is chrome. Next I will upgrade the treads to the real ones that Wheeljaxx used. He used Armada/energon demolisher but I may use the energon tank from bruticus.

nice review man, i can see some of the things you mentioned but yeah....still a great piece.

man, the drillhorn has the potential to be the coolest figure of the group because of all the heavy mods
PM me if you have any weird/rare g1 bootlegs for trade or sale, i have some rare bootlegs for trade.
