I generally don't do "reviews," I let the pictures do that talking. But feel free to ask any questions, though I'm sure Peaugh has most of them covered by now. I'll just say that I like him a great deal.
Is that the proper way of putting the hood parts on his back? I like to leave mine up to look like wings like the G1 versions of prowl and jazz.
Looks kinda top heavy. Can he pose or balance fairly well? And are the pieces that connect the legs to the hips soft rubbery plastic? Also, if its not too much trouble, can i request some pics of the light piping? Wondering if it shines bright, or there's too much obstruction in the back that blocks out the light. All in all, awesome figure!
If you pose the heels right, he can just lean back on them and its not too bad. Yes, but that's not what connects the legs to the body. If you look carefully in the closeup pic, you can see that they are actually connected with transparent plastic joints. Very cool effect. The light-piping on mine does not shine very well. Even if I hold it up to the light, it doesn't come through very brightly, on mine at least.
Here are the heels. If you position them like this (may take a couple tries to get them juuuuust right) and fold them in, he is quite stable. There is really nothing to worry about.
Any chance for a dynamic, leg intensive pose? Most photos I've seen make it seem like his legs are not going to be good for much.
Awesomesauce...some. I kind of like the wings down look as it gives a slightly cleaner silhouette from the front, but on the other hand with the wings up he shares a lot of aesthetic similarities with movie Dropkick, who I also love. Definitely looking forward to picking this guy up when he comes out. ... hopefully he doesn't get arbitrarily killed in the movie, thus ending potential for future appearances (No that is not a request for spoilers, tyvm)
Awesome pics Gog, never though you'd be ont to join the stolen chinese toys game, Vangelus must be rubbing off on you.
Incredible details with the hydraulics and stuff. Even if you're not a fan of the movie designs surely you can appreciate it from an engineering standpoint.
Awesome pics Gog. I think Swipe is by far and away my favourite of the ROTF toys so far unveiled. In fact, I think he's the best looking Bayformer out there by quite a margin.
You're the man now, Gogdog. You've probably heard that a metric effton of times, but this time it's true and not just the casual humping of a cliche internet meme's corpse.
I'm guessing that you can only bend the legs forwards so far so you don't damahe the faux joints, but can you tell us about how far forwards they go? Most pictires show him in an irritatingly straight legged pose.
