I got him too, I was pretty amazed with the transformation, I also used the reverse feet -which look soo much better, but the feet are still difficult to balance. The chest will be more stable if you exert some pressure right above it. The plastic seems very light by but its sturdy enough. The paint job is a rare treat here in America. The The figure is amazing and I give it a A (A+ if not for the feet)!

That would be an interesting repaint. Better have the flamey wings paint app on the hood though.

I was just thinking (again)... am I the only one who sees a resemblance to RiD Prowl in this guy?

I swear the balljoint on 1 of the legs was broken when I got it. I know I didn't use that much pressure. Or is it that delicate?

I was worried about that, I thought it was unnecessary to use clear plastic I can't really see the joint anyway.

This guy is sweet. My only problem is that his rear wheels won't roll in alt mode.

I find that you can put him into some great pose's if you click either side of the feet out by a notch or two, they end up looking kinda like hooves, but alow a bit more stability when leaning...

Thanks to Draven for the kickass sig!...

IT'S COLON BURNING TIME!!!!...

the first ever myhobby review!
not as special as you might think...

anyway-
sideswipe

pictured here with fellow skater, bonecrusher (who hates being compared to "pretty boy")

sideswipe certainly pulls of that "fast, awesome car" look

a pic of the underside (since, yah know, every one displays vehicles upside down)

and bot mode! he reeks of awesomeness!

really looks buff. (i can hear fan-girls screaming from here...)

attack mode, showing of one of the toys flaws. (took me ten minutes to get him to stand like that.)

mine seems to like to lean to the right.

his arms are kind of limited in poseability, i would have liked a swivel joint above his elbow.
still, he can do [isaac sumdac]truly marvelous things, i can tell you![/isaac sumdac]

tutorial for feet (alt. transformation)
this is his "official" transformation.

step 1. flip foot up

step 2. return foot to "vehicle mode" position

step 3. turn foot in the opposite direction than what you did before (push "big toe" back, bring "little toe" forward)

flip down and, you have an all new bot!

please note, i didn't see any improvement to his stability in this mode.

so in short, the toy looks great, but has issues with poseability.
and standing up in a light breeze.

then you're not pushing the wheels all the way up into the wheel wells. it should make the sides look better too

the more i play with this guy, the cooler he is! i just wish the front part of the toe has become part of the backpack, for more show accurate feet. and the leg too, more bendy. id also say that it would be better if his legs had been attatched normally, cause im affraid ill break the joints, but its cool-totally worth having there, esp with the clear balljoints.
