I got RotF Skywarp in the mail today (actually me walking to the post office in subzero temps to pick him up) As the norm with most Skywarp toys, he's mainly black with silver and purple coloring with some red in robot mode. The joints seem tight and he holds together well in both modes, a little better then TC or G1 SS. Other then that he is pretty much the same as the last 3 versions of the mold.

Always love the nice combination of black and purple. Looks good, though I never liked that headsculpt.

..was it ever confirmed that these SS repaints were for the RotF line though?

 

Nice. Already nabbed the Thundercracker and SS versions of that mold, just waiting for Skywarp to hit retail to complete the set. Thanks for the group shot pics, that's what I've been wanting to see since we first saw the shots of Skywarp.

 

Whoah, red cockpit! That's a new twist on the typical yellow-orange. And those red pecs look like open wounds, or exposed muscle. I like it, it looks very evil.

It's a must-buy, of course. Completing a Seeker trio is always extremely satisfying.  

 

Ok, I love the red, but that face is just horrible.

 

Pretty nice colours on this, I like how it looks but sadly I'm not too interested in this mold anymore after owning SS once.

 

I'm actually considering buying this cause I love Skywarp and I can't resist a black and purple color scheme. It would actually be my first Movie figure, period. Does he have hands or are the missile launchers all you get?

You don't normally see red on Skywarp, but the red on this one looks really nice.

 

I really like the colors on this guy, especially the red. Unfortunately, after owning TC I lost interest in the mold.

Of the versions of the mold I own I do like this version the best. The black with red seals the deal as they say

 

Man, that deco is SHARP. Agreed on the awesomeness of the red highlights.

I still really like this mold, and eagerly await the release of the new decos. Wonder if they'll get around to Thrust and Dirge versions.

 

I do not l like that red chest at all.  

 

Damn they got me with the Skywarp deco. Cant resist that.

 

I do like the red highlights but wish they were spread out a bit, like had some silver painted in between, like on the first movie Starscream.

 

yea the launchers are all you get which makes him one really crappy figure but I admit its a cool lookin figure but I wotn buy another of that mold
