If he was going to use melee weapons anyway, why not just use his massive claws?gigantic blaster

Working over the weekend, got in to early before the place was open, went for a walk, saw Waspy in Australia for the first time, grabbed him!

Finally got this little bugger and he is really nice, despite being a little too fragile for an Animated toy.

I give Waspinator a B+.
